I will always support the death penalty. For scum like this:

I want to know how he "only" got 7 years in jail for raping a child and then got LET OUT EARLY??? WTF?

Some of the comments mentioned that the judge who let this guy out early should be held accountable for these deaths and rapes. I kind of agree with that.

These types can never be rehabilitated. Ever. They should never be let out of jail.

And that guy in the article deserves the death penalty, IMO.

No kidding. Remember the IMF dude who was raping maids? Not a single minute in jail.

Agreed. Initially only serving 2 years for the 2009 sexual assaults of a child and "other residents", violating probation within 2 days of being released, and yet he was released early again?? It's incredibly frustrating when red flags are ignored, resulting in more people (and children) being victimized.

I don't know how he managed to escape when the toddlers parents came home and found him naked in a bedroom with their baby. Cops would've found the dude dead if it were my child he was hurting. That would've offered a healthy savings to the tax payers.

If this joker was in prison, he would't last a week. Prison inmates KILL child molesters,(slang term, chickenhawk or chicken licker)predator and killers. If he was connected they must've worked pretty fast to keep him out.

Well, maybe the people who let him out of jail should be held accountable - make them an example to others.

I hope this guy is in jail (with no bond) and never sees the light of day as a free man again.

I wonder if this is really true. The guy was already in jail for raping a child and he is (unfortunately) still alive, so....maybe there ISN'T honor among thieves.

Though maybe he was kept in confinement or something. Who knows. Who cares. The guy is a POS who doesn't deserve to breathe the air I breathe.

so many of those guys are repeat offenders, it's sad..it really is

when your kid is sexually assaulted by a repeat offender who keeps walking out of jail, that shit makes ur blood boil

Jerry Active got a chance to perpetrate evil again, because another activist judge was too opinionated and too arrogant to thoroughly study and digest the nature of his wrap sheet crimes .......Some kind of way, judges should be held partly accountable for these out comes.......We elect them to render decisions which should serve our best interests.......The judge failed this elderly couple and their grandchild and he failed the Alaska department of corrections......

It seems possible that he might be alive for a while in the city/county jail. But in a prison, the inmates will know what he is in for before he even sets foot inside. Protective Custody is no guarantee because anyone from the general population can go into Protective Custody if someone has a problem with someone.

DOn't use this case to justify your support of the death penalty.
The problem isn't that the guilty aren't getting severely punished. What is a damn shame is when INNOCENT people are sentenced to death.

But I guess it's okay to kill a few innocent people just as long as we snuff all the superbaddies.

I don't know how anyone can support capital punishment once they become aware of how many innocent men have been put to death for crimes they didn't commit.

    No thanks.

You and I will just have to agree to disagree on the subject of capital punishment.

I do have to admit that more innocent people are doing time in prison and most of them are minorities. About the same with how many are on Death Row and executed. DNA evidence and a witness coming forward to speak up are game changers, but they are few and far in between(the Hail Mary moment).

what is there to disagree about? do you support innocent people being killed?
    I doubt it.
I think we might agree about someone being undeniably guilty but you know the system is not perfect and death is. lol

As a matter-of-fact, I do support that.

What a stupid question and statement. I mean, really.

You know exactly what I meant by the agree to disagree. But in case it went over your head, I meant that while you want it off the table completely, I do not. I think in cases like this, where there is unequivocal evidence of guilt, then the death penalty should be sought (and granted).

I will never understand how someone on one hand wants to outlaw abortion but is gung-ho about the death penalty.

If 'murder' is murder, then ALL murders are wrong.

abortion isn't considered murder to them because you know, it's their body and they can do what they want with it

even if it means extinguishing the growing lifeform
