This is hilarious and sad at the same time.

Pizza, btw, is the #1 rated favorite food in the U.S. I'm betting the sudden waft of a pepp pizza slice will cause some towels to be thrown in :?

With the multitude of things to boycott this is the one people get upset about. Oh well...

Nope. Never implied that. I'm speaking of two different scenarios there. One's political, in which the CEO clearly partake in, which is all fine by me. And on the other hand, certain practices which gives the public the impression that Papa John's could be operating some subtle level of discriminatory practice in regards to hiring and such.

The latter doesn't seem to add up since the pizza chain even set up shop in places like Harlem, so I'd conclude it's a major fabrication or some exaggeration of any kind.

    And for the record...

Papa John's, Domino's, Pizza Hut and many other major pizza chain don't really serve quality tasting pizzas compared to the small business pizza stores.

Pizza making is a lost art. You can taste the difference. At Little Caesar's the hot-n-now pizzas is keeping the franchise afloat. Unfortunately, for $5.35 a pie, there are no guarrantees that you will get a good quality pie. Proof-positive that you get what you paid for. The traditional mom & pop Italian pizzerias are, indeed, a little pricey. But, I would rather spend money on quality than the production line pizzas(Pizza Hut is a step better than any of the competition).

When my ex and I were first married, he moonlighted as a pizza delivery driver and often made a pizza to bring home at the end of his shift. Since he made it himself, he could put whatever he wanted on it. To this day, I still love to eat extra-cheese, pepperoni pizza in bed!! :smt050

I watched the video, I feel kind of guilty for laughing at the Figaro parody and the guy randomly shouting the n-word. But this was really disrespectful.

There's a place called Moe's Pizza here and while it's pricey, the pizzas are more than worth it! Which begs the question...can we give quality a chance?

Technically, they paint with a broad brush when advertising to get your money. So I guess it goes both ways.

I love extra-chees and pepperoni. I often add green peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes(sometimes).

    *ahem*

last election cycle, papa John himself made a huge deal about paying for health care for his minimum wage employees. Why anyone would even order pizza from this place is beyond ridiculous. He may have stepped forward in this case and done damage control..but he probably doesn't want to be thought of as racist AND greedy. That will kill his business quick-like.

    Very true
He can be a greedy liberal or a greedy conservative.

    He's still greedy either way.

And he's going to add a 25 cent surcharge on his pizza to fund health care but give 2 million pizzas away at Super Bowl?

Look, I really don't care what you are or how you think. Just be consistent about it.
If you're greedy, then be greedy all the time.
Not only when it's now mandatory to offer health care.
