Yep that video was pretty much  out there. I wouldn't call those who agree with that men but rather abusers. A breed that needs little reason to commit abuse. I'm always amazed when I hear of women who stay with such men for a long time thinking they will change their ways.
I know of a situation just like this. Married couple (at the time), they were arguing, and he got tired of it. He told her he didn't want to talk to her at that moment. He needed time to cool off. She wouldn't accept that and left the room, came back with a jug of water and poured it on his head. He told her if she didn't leave his sight she'd regret it. She left, came back and poured another jug of water on his head. He went after her. I don't think he actually hit her, but he went after her. She called the cops and he was jailed for the night and ordered to anger management classes. She wasn't disciplined in any way. She was wrong. If she got handled roughly she deserved it, imo.
He went to jail? So he must have injured her. Cops are not allowed to arrest him unless the see evidence of injury. Her word is not enough. You sure he didn't K/O her like this cop did.....over water? [HDYT]QtUWUxNFbCY[/HDYT] Precisely. That sounds reasonable. But it sounds like he went overboard and ended up in the Clink.
I LOVE how the other cops stand guard as he cuffs her, another cop even helps. They should have been slapping the cuffs on his ass!
If the strengths haven't changed then the females going around startin shit should keep that in mind.
Women have been starting shit since they got their period. Men's responses have changed. Again, I've never been of the ILK that it's OK to start shit thinking you won't be hit (see below). My ISSUE is men and women who think its ok to go gangbusters anytime, just because she 'touched him'. To heck with that.
He was fired, went to trial, a judge (surprise) acquitted him. Now he wants to file a lawsuit that HIS civil Rights were violated. This guy, I swear. Keep in mind, he has other civilian assault complaints on his record. http://newsone.com/2250612/jonathan-josey-aida-guzman-puerto-rican-day-parade/
I do believe that some people will push the limits of what another person can handle if they don't fear physical repercussions. It's unfortunate, and for every bat shit crazy guy who kicks the heck out of a woman for not washing a glass to crystal perfection and it triggered something, there is an equally crazy woman who will slap and punch you up side your head just because you came back from work 2 minutes late and it triggered something. I think with gender equality and more women serving in possible combat roles maybe in 25 to 50 to 100 years people will start advocating the ending of violence against people as oppose to just violence against women. Then again maybe not.
Again well said. If you're my equal don't expect me to great you like a child. Most men thoroughly understand if you cross the line with other men you better be prepared to knuckle up. Crossing the line includes physically starting a conflict or in some rare situations verbal like if calling someone certain names. There are a lot of women with the notion that they are untouchable and cross a line they would never cross with other women. Its not about abuse because abusers don't need a reason they're just gonna do it whether they fell justified or not.
That's fucking bs Bliss. All they need is a better all from a neighbor and woman who looks visibly scared and your ass is going to lock up. Ag least that's the case in good ol Ny stats. Remember cops aren't only about keeping the peace they make money for the state.
Bullshit @ visibly scared. NY had almost half a MILLION reported cases of actual physical domestic abuse alone last year! You don't have ENOUGH JAILS for women merely scared of their men. If a woman is scared, she must go to her City Hall's EPO Division office which is manned 24hrs, and file for an emergency of protection order. Then she can take the EPO to the cops and they can remove him, BUT NOT ARREST HIM. But know too, on an actual D/V call, Police can NOT arrest a man or even make him leave his house UNLESS they have probable cause (ie: must be dependent on factual evidence and not on suspicion alone). .. and trust me with him soaked and her perfect, no way was he getting arrested - I'm betting Ches didn't provide the full story or even knows all of it, or it happened yonks ago before the new domestic violence laws. So clearly he must have put his hands on her, left marks and THAT's why his ass was taken to jail.
