I'm not a Zimmerman defender. I only apply what the facts, evidence and laws are, to the situations. And I don't understand how it's "logic," if you're asserting something without any evidence or first hand knowledge of the situation to back it up?

And YES, it does matter if a 911 dispatcher or a police officer told him not to do something. Had it been a sworn officer, Zimmerman would have been brought up on a lot more charges.

I'm asserting the same way you & everyone else are. You read or hear something and formed an opinion based on your own observation & experiences.

Provoking an unarmed man into a confrontation that results in you killing him with a weapon is against the law! I am sure SYG does not mean to SYG after you cause the situation.

Are you allowed to bring up the character of someone who can't defend themselves or put it into context.
Neighborhood watch is suppose to observe and report not question people they think are suspects. Its not their role and like I said this entire thing could have been avoided if dude identified himself.

Well, the confrontation happened after that phone call concluded. Which means that Zimmerman was still following Trayvon even after that phone call to police, unless you believe Travyon was waiting patiently until Zimmerman finished his phonecall, then jumped him..

According to him Treyvon ran and circled around to catch him by surprise. To me its all speculation but the fact remains it could have all been avoided by a simple identification. I know a lot of people want to say there's no law against following someone even though we all know for a fact had the roles been reversed they'd demand that he executed on the spot. The idea of a young black man following you at night in the rain would make most whites shit their pants with fear so I don't get why this should be any different for Treyvon. I do think its possible that he confronted Zimmerman if for no other reason to make sure he didn't get robbed since there were a lot of b&e in the area.

why it all couldnt it have been avoided if Z performed thye title of what organization he was part of ...Neighborhood watch...emphasizing the word "watch". thus his dumb cowboy ass was to call the police and let them well....police.

why should it be the burden be on trayvon?

Judge in the case has denied nearly all the bullshit about Trayvon released to the media as being inadmissible in this case.

That's why some of us said most of the character evidence being spread about Trayvon by the Zimmerman defense team was about tainting a future jury anyway.

Did you read the last statement?

The evidence could be submitted later in the trial...just not in the opening statements.

Yes, I read the last statement but that still doesn't change the rules as it relates to the introduction of the evidence, and the purposes that it could be used for. They key word is could. My guess is that it won't be allowed at that point for the same reasons that it won't be allowed in the opening statement: it isn't relevant evidence.

Then the prosecution is throwing out the past of Zimmerman?

Nope!...Trayvon Martin has the sympathy and support from the president and the mainstream press,...... there will be great pressure to seat a jury to take down and convict him.... among other things, to set an example.....It's a damn shame but, when it begins, this case will be the biggest thing to divide the country down racial lines since the O.J Simpson trail......emotions are very strong on both sides !...............

I think it would be impossible to find everything that is absolutely and completely wrong with this post.

The president, the public, you, me have nothing to do with this trial. Somebody shouldn't be paraded out as a sacrificial lamb just to fucking appease a mob. Let's go back to the late 1800's for that shit...
