Rapper Chief Keef Threatens Katy Perry for Dissing His Song

Katy Perry ignited a feud with rapper Chief Keef by dissing one of his songs via Twitter this week.

She said that his tune, "Hate Being Sober," gave her "serious doubt for the world," but it's his response to her comment that really has us doubting for the fate of humanity.

When the 17-year-old Chicago rapper caught wind of Perry's comment, he responded with lewd comments and threatened to assault her, tweeting that he'd "Smack the s--t out her." He also implied that he was going to go into the studio to write a song about the pop star.

He also offered a graphic description of a sexual act he wanted Perry to perform on him.

The "Firework" singer apparently didn't even know it was Chief Keef's song when she originally made the comment about "Hate Being Sober." Not wanting to add fuel to the fire, Perry offered an apology.

Mr. Keef! I'm sorry if I offended you. I heard a lot of people guesting on the song & didn't even know it was you in particular. Actually...

It's hard to know whether that appeased Chief Keef, but he retweeted her apology and quickly moved on to other topics, such as profanity-laden rants about wanting to have sex with Reggie Bush's baby mama. Classy.

I've heard worse from high school students when I was in high school and quite frankly hear worse from kids in the grocery store. It's a shame what has happened to the youth. He is still a dumb kid and it's sad that he was raised to act this way.

After reading this, it makes me want to defend Katy Perry's honor. The nerve of this little bastard saying he would slap the shit out of Katy Perry. It clearly shows that he is not mature enough to rap. He's one of those jitterbugs who wants the trappings of fame.

Raps for the young cats anywho so really he's acting like any other rapper out now, you know what? even if we went back 20 years I wouldn't be surprised if Cube said/ did the same thing.

If there's anything that I dislike more then post 2000 rap, it's pop. I could really careless about this whole incident, his actions where not chivalrous, but it's not like I'd expect anything more.

It is all about money than it is about music. Almost every singer sounds like the last person to have a hit song. Some artists are original and have their own distinctive sound like Amy Winehouse or Fiona Apple. But the rest is formulaic and gimmicky. Not enough heart at all. Back then, there were beefs among a few artists. Most of them were breakups in partnerships. Pete Best, the Beatles' first drummer, was tossed out because he was a handsome guy and a poor drummer. It didn't work out with Pete Best. If I were to put out an album today, it would be about music, not bullshit.

Yeah but Ice Cube and most of the rappers from back in the day wouldn't be saying that shit about some white pop female artists like dudes do now because they would see them as fluffy artists and not worth their ire. They'd save that for some other rap artists in order to pop off lyrical beefs and make some good back & forth diss battles and make some money and beef up their "battle status" as a "real" rappers. So called rappers nowadays just say & start ignorant shit because they're straight up ignorantand spoiled as shit.

Exactly. Cube was on his Nation of Islam stint 20 years ago. If Katy Perry was a rapper, then he would probably get at her for being white and making bubblegum ass rap. He didn't care what was going on with grunge or pop or whatever. Plus, Cube wasn't one to say "I'll fuck yo bitch" or some other shit. He quit that shit after Straight Outta Compton.

Not sure if it's true since its on Wikipedia, but it says he entered UC Berkeley when he was 16. Dropped out after 1 semester. Sad if it's true.

Seriously. These young rappers are out to make a buck and make a name for themselves. I'm sure Katy Perry doesn't give two fucks about what he thinks or says. He's a douche, but he's still going to sell records. I don't really care about the drama between artists, mostly because I don't think they even care.

I've still got him on my iPod :smt020

I just don't get how anyone born before 1992 can bump this bullshit. Dude sounds like EVERYONE ELSE and says nothing. Its tough hearing this shit when the era I grew up with had some serious lyricist. Sorry west coast that don't include yall lol

Personally I don't understand getting your panties in a twist over a feud that neither artist will remember in a month. Famous people do shit like this daily for publicity. Again...do you think Katy Perry gives a fuck what Chief Keef thinks? You're expecting kindness and character from a dude who raps about nothing but drugs and bitches?

This dude doesn't come close to the classic artists I grew up with (nice WC diss btw lol)...but some of it isn't half bad.

Maybe that's the difference, since I don't really hardly listen to any rap artists who dropped in the last 5-10 years. I just got the link for this vid and yeah I liked the beat.:partyman:

I don't really know what the rest of these cats out here 'sound' like.:smt002

Fair enough sir. I hear you. Right now I'm listening to some old Boyz II Men wishing music like this was still being made but instead I'm stuck with bullshit from 2Chains and Wocka Flocka. It's a sad ass day when they consider Drake r&b
