I am comfortable with it, and will say it whenever and however I please. And that's pretty much the long and short of it...

 

I am not asking you to stop saying it in your personal life. I am telling you not to say it to me on this forum. That is the long and short of it.

 

If you use that word to comment to me, I will report it each time. Furthermore, you quoted me, if you would like to use the word without quoting me that is your business. You can use all of the memes in the world, but it wont change the fact that I will not tolerate being called that. Enjoy your day.

 

To each his own, but I can't help but feel sad when someone feels they have no need/desire for a partner. Having been alone far longer than I ever dreamed I would be, I can say that it's not just about sex. Neither hand nor toy can substitute for the warmth, love, affection, encouragement, support, laughter and even arguments & tears of a good partner.

If you say this now because you're disilllusioned due to the breakup of a serious relationship, I understand and I hope that things change as you heal. But if you say that out of a sense of real contentment and pleasure in being alone, well, then more power to you. You're not kidding yourself and you know what will makes you happy.

 

There's more than 11, but nonetheless, this is about cheating, not finding another mate, or not keeping the same one for life. Even we humans don't all mate for life.

Nice rare thoughts there, TDK. Sadly though most cheaters aren't thinking about the welfare of their spouse/partner from the git-go.

 

I actually enjoy being without a relationship. No one is really alone. We all have friends and associates. Thanks for the support.

Thanks for the info, LAW. I was going to ask Ches who her source was, but decided to google it and everyone seemed to have that stat. I was going to look at the CDC's stats but didn't follow up. It would be nice if those figures were merely fear-mongering, but if not, odds are we are all to be doomed eventually, lol. Well maybe not you since you have opted out.

 

We aren't all doomed. The truth is that it depends on your lifestyle and how trustworthy and loyal your partner is. You will be fine. Just make sure that you get a blood test. No other test will do, and you will be just fine.

Yes it's a low figure, however it's still irrelevant to use animals mating habits as a comparative to human's cheating on their mate, if only because we don't know the reasons for their specific mating methodologies.

Besides... animals who mate for life look so purrty...
