    LOL! There definitely doesn't appear to be an inbetween with this movie.

    I'm ashamed to say I've never even read the book. My son has been scouting out (cheap or free) copies. When he finds one, I'll read it. By then, I'll be able to catch the movie at matinee prices. :p

    You didn't have to read it in HS? I thought that was a requirement. LOL.

    Have you tried your library? Mine has a ton of copies. :smt023

    I don't think that was one of the ones we had to read. I remember "The Grapes of Wrath" and "Catcher in the Rye"

    My son actually tried the library - all the copies in the system have holds on them. Lol. Everybody's trying to read it.

    Damn. My library had a ton of copies but that was about a month before the movie came out. I'm sure they're all checked out now, too.

    That sucks! I can't imagine that book is that expensive as it's like 170 pages. It's like a pamphlet. LOL.

    When I picked the book up off the shelf, all I could think of was: that's it? This thing is tiny!
