how convenient..................... http://news.yahoo.com/breakthrough-hiv-cure-just-few-months-away-114500676.html just when these guys were talking about an AFFORDABLE cure for HIV in the short future, something new and more dangerous emerges lmao really..either have no sex at all or just use the same partner all that whoring around isnt fun when you're breathing through a tube and shitting on yourself
100% co-sign! :smt023 (has to be both ways) So true @ your last line. I remember watching a docu on aids and this one woman they were following, she had to take a bunch of pills that not only made her throw up, they made her shit her pants. She kept running to the bathroom. No thank you.
this is what i'm thinking call us conspiracy nuts or whatever, but when faced with an 'affordable cure' or 'long-term, expensive treatments, it just seems like a business no brainer remember R&D departments have limited funding, so they have to pick and choose which options to explore. why explore cures when you can rack in profits from crappy treatments that you take daily reminds me of that vampire movie with Ethan Hawke. he wanted to find a cure for Vampirism, but his employer was like 'fuck that, give them something that will keep them coming back and spending money'
yeah, lets look at things.....they were able to cure polio and send men to the moon, make the gps system but they cant cure the gonoherra and other std's or cancer
shit we're still waiting for them to 'cure' the common cold lol cold medicine is a billion dollar industry or damn near close to it they're pimping us hard with that tylenol game
Polio is not curable its a virus, only preventable by vaccination All viruses are incurable. Its when you have bacteria that are immune to antibiotics its like wtf.
Yeah that seems like a much more practical goal, anything to keep it from spreading. I hope they get somewhere against the spread of Ebola too, it is even more deadly, they are almost completely in the dark with it though. Its not an STD, but still it is the worlds most deadly virus.
ebola? shoot me in the back of the head if i got that i seen Outbreak...i know what happens if you dont
jesus... another example of 'side effects worse than initial condition' reminds me of Psoriasis and the systemic treatments they have for it instead of just saying 'screw the topical creams/steroids take a pill with breakfast,' theyd rather you NOT take the pills unless your condition is very bad/covers lots of your body something tells me the side effects of the pills must be wildly unpredictable/crazy if they want u to take them as a last resort
