http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/...m_medium=onsite&utm_campaign=sailthru+slider+ and here they come.................... high profile defense attorney's looking for even more fame and attention:smt074
yeah, I agree with you . I can see the theory behind the checks. It may scare off pussy criminals. it just make sense tho. real criminals are gonna find a way to do shit. thats their career. I believe that doing nothing is not an option. Like you said, they will find a way to get around shit.
From reading the article, the new attorney doesn't even speak about what she does really. She spoke at confrence, but it sounds more educational, professional and informative. By the sounds of it, she's good and known, but not a "hot-shot defense lawyer."
It came out today that it was not only the Russians...but the Saudis also sent intelligence warnings to the DHS in 2010 about the older brother. It was apparently ignored.
If the standard we used for whether or not we should have a law or not is whether or not someone was still going to find a way to break it, there would be NO laws at all. The goal is to limit criminal behavior, not eliminate it completely which is impossible to do anyway.
She's known for being very good at getting lighter sentences in cases that generally result in death She defended the unabomber and others
Yeah, I saw that. She is obviously good at what she does, but I don't know if I would say she's fame hungry. I'd rather that the boy doesn't get the death penalty, so that he can ge raped everday in prison while he thinks about what he did to people (especially the women and children).
LOL. No I agreed with you. I was responding more to TDK's post that you had quoted. There hasn't been a law written that hasn't been broken by someone.
