you know I never knew things were that bad in Chicago

forced confessions out the wazoo at the hands of the same cop, which led to the city (several years later) paying out millions of dollars to these guys

the kicker is that the people who assisted Jon Burge with his torturing/forced confession routines, are still roaming free and facing no charges (but hey at least they slapped Burge with 4.5 years in jail..and he keeps his benefits)

    how the fuck?

9 out of 10 were black. I also read it was 50% Black. Either way you get the idea of how we are used.

I do remember reading something along the lines of prison funding is based on the results of standardized testing in public schools.

Find the roots (yes, plural) of the problem and start from there.

well shit by finding articles like these and re-circulating them, so that people can know what's going on

leaving positive messages on sites that have these types of articles helps

this is where the importance of education comes into play too

until the playing field(s) becomes more level, we're always going to get pipe in the ass because their arent enough of us in the right positions with the right mindset

Every time we have developed something good for our communities White Terrorism has pretty much hopped in and destroyed it. I hope someday things will get better.

I am sir. I usually bs on here when I'm at work since there isn't much to do on third shift. It keeps me up.
Studying requires more attention so I do this. But you do have a point maybe I could do more constructive things.
I'm gonna do three days off and see what I come up with.

You asked earlier, what can we do? Stop the thoughts and actions of what you said above.

Our grandparents and parents got entire movements accomplished, laws chanaged, all he meanwhile raising children, working, etc. We all so busy these days. We need to stop being so selfish, and give ourselves to the cause(s) we proclaim to be so important.
