You couldn't pay me enough to get that logo tattooed on my body...

Just remembered branding was what they did to slaves. Interesting message double r.

I don't do tats, but for 15% extra in commission, I might be persuaded to get a tiny one behind the ear.

My initial reaction was "hell no, I won't tattoo a company logo on my body", but after more though...I would probably consider it. Jumping from 25-40% commission is a big deal when talking real estate, and if I could get it small enough that it could be covered later by something else (heaven knows I love my tatts), I'd probably do it.

No one is being forced to do it. They are being offered a larger commission if they get the tat because it's a marketing strategy. Big difference.

No one is being forced, but management always remembers who is and isn't a team player. And come layoff time, the non-tats will be the first to go.

That 15% commission is a bitch just because you got some stupid ass tattoo!!

I'd try to delay getting it as long as possible while I looked for another job.
No employer has the right to ask you to get your body tattooed.

I expect to see more of this kind of nonsense as the union movement gets crushed by corporate America.

Without organizational protection, a company can literally ask an employee to do almost anything. There are people who would commit crimes for their jobs if that's what their manager wanted them to do.

    Ridiculous.

It's a bad move continuing to work for a company with a CEO who's high on that level of an ego trip.

We definitely agree on this. Cosign

What's funny is workers who actually complain about unions. They don't get that's all that stands between them and slave labor

I'd probalaly do it then cover it (depending on if i liked the look) if things with sour with the company.

    Totally agree.

I found this comment left meaningful, also..Much along your lines...

"Meanwhile in Germany, they get higher wages, more vacation time, better working conditions and strong unions that still outproduce every other nation on the planet. Our workers are beginning to act like slaves and these clowns are "branding" themselves accordingly. American, a nation full of corporate puppets scared to ask the master for a buck."

Ok I missed the second part you wrote after the 'cosign' to AB. I just now read it. Yes, you did indeed say it! :smt023

What about the RR is interesting to you. Plz explain.

That they are implementing old school slave practices of branding their workers. I don't get how people are falling for this shit.

Oh yes, I got that in your first part of comment. And the Nazis did that too.

I was more referring to your addum of 'Interesting message double r.'
I thought you were implying the RR stood for something else more sinister, for example.
