I remember years ago when I was 13. I asked my father about the one photo (Lawrence Beitler- Lynching) of the black men who were hanged and the whites who seemed to relish in their deaths standing around, I asked "why they hate us". yeaaaaah it definitely hurts to look back at old photos dudes would just stand around proud that they killed a black person..it really drove home this idea that they considered us to be 'less than a man' and more on par with animals i've tried to understand...i really fucking did.....the hatred just doesn't make any damn sense at all
