The Racist Roots of Gun Control

This debate about guns for protection looms large in the early history of blacks who were left defenseless against domestic terror groups like the KKK. Blacks armed themselves against these killers with no protection from the government until laws were passed in the Jim Crow era to prevent blacks from having guns. Malcolm X once spoke of these facts. The black progressives (liberals) bought and paid for by their white liberal masters (who themselves have a checkered past) want you to believe that blacks do not need to have guns for protection today. Look at Chicago, Washington D.C., Philly, etc.... I will post several articles on this later. I want this to be a signature thread on the topic. Have to get back to work.

Do you have any family down South?? I've got cousins on top of cousins in Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana. They've ALWAYS had guns, even during Jim Crow. Nonetheless a Black man down South still couldn't shoot a White man and call it justifiable homicide. Things just didn't go down like that.

Yall don't really understand how the KKK worked down South either. THey weren't this marauding group of racist muthafuckers randomly lynching Black folk. The KKK popped up when WHite folk thought a Black man was stepping 'out of his place'. Putting on airs, acting 'uppity'. Or committed a crime against a WHite person.

There's an expression that used to be popular down South;
'Know your place and stay in it.'

The KKK really started to blow up during the Civil Rights era starting in the 1950s, because from their point of view Black folk had collectively lost their minds and were threatening the existing racial order.

But that gun shit you're talking is some made up right wing crap. Many Black were farmers in the South, or lived in rural parts of the state. They raised their own food and livestock. To slaughter a hog you absolutely needed a shotgun. To shoot wild game you needed a .22 rifle. And a revolver for whatever.

Just because Blacks owned guns in the South after Reconstruction didn't give them the authority to use it against a White man.

There's no state in the South where Blacks didn't own guns. If someone tries to convince you of that, they're selling you some bullshit.

It's impossible to ban guns in this country mostly because of the fact that many progressive don't want all guns banned. Once conservatives stop being afraid and come out from under their beds, they'd realize if we had background checks, limits on magazine capacity and assault weapons banned from sale, most libs would be done with the issue.
