I've heard about this tragedy on the news when it happened, but I didn't think there would be this much chaos! Whoever did it, they better get severe consequences. :smt021 :smt013

Place had so many cameras and with all the technology in this day and age, they are bound to spot something.

Virtually everyone out there had a camera, news cameras covering the race, buildings having cameras.

Seems like they already have a lead but are being conservative about where things stand, even though someone leaked they are on to a suspect apparently and they are coy about it publicly.

An event like that so well covered technologically as the Boston Marathon is bound to turn up some clues that lead to the suspect.

 

I wasn’t really gonna weigh in on this topic but in the wake of 9/11, the Colorado shootings last summer, the tragic killings at Sandy Hook Elementary and then this most recent massacre has made me almost numb to the evil in our society and I’m nearly at the point where nothing surprises me anymore.

I do sincerely feel for the families and the victims in Boston right now because I look at the situation from the perspective of "what if that were my family and loved ones who were severely injured or lost their lives?" I always ask myself what kind of monster would hurt an innocent human being with no remorse whatsoever?

I’m angry at the thought of how this will affect all of our lives going forward and my only hope is that the authorities will bring the perpetrators to justice so the victim’s families can have a little bit of closure.

 

Makes me wonder if we are any better than wild animals in nature.

I really want to know who is behind that bombing, strange that no group has claimed responsibility, usually terror groups can't wait to claim responsibility.

 

Just because we can talk, it doesn't make us better than animals, because we aren't. We've proven it time and time again throughout history.

No group claiming responsibility leads me to think it's a domestic terrorist - one not affiliated with any major group. Just my opinion, though.

 

And what's weirder is they came out right away and said, 'Hey look, it wasn't us ok?"

We have such an inflated sense of self, don't we.

What we experienced in Boston is what goes on in Syria, Pakistan and other parts of the world almost daily as part of societal violence.

I was thinking the same as well, because the foreign terror groups love to proclaim in a heartbeat they struck at the U.S.

Waiting patiently to see what comes of the suspect/s.

 

Same thing happened during the Madrid bombing

No one claimed responsibility but Spain traced it straight back to al Qaeda

When I read some stuff like this, the story you posted about the pedophile that kidnapped the mother from the mall and killed her and sexually assaulted the young daughter, it makes one wonder.

Saw a story yesterday on Dr. Phil where a woman met a man on match.com, after she saw he was kind of controlling she dumped him before the relationship progressed further. 3 months later he attacked her and tried to kill her, he then went and killed an ex-gf with a machete and then killed himself in prison when he was caught.

 

Wuut? Oh well I'll be damned...

So it could be a red-herring? Hmmmm.

 

Forgot about that bombing in Spain.
