a lot of gamers were upset at the lack of competition due to the NFL licensing agreement with EA, but really did not know how to go about it besides venting their frustration. EA lowered their prices to stay competitive, then signed the deal with the NFL and immediately jumped their prices back up the following year because no other companies could make NFL games.


i for one am happy EA may get their butts handed to em

as a sports gamer, i loved when there were 2 or 3 other football choices out there. all the companies really had to put some work in to make the better game.

 

Instead of giving a few gamers some money for the lawsuit, they should just release Madden 2014 free to everyone. It would quash the lawsuit plus give EA a much needed PR boost.

Or back in the 64/Playstation days when there were literally over a dozen different sports series. Hell, Gameday, Quarterback Club, NBA Courtside, Live, Blitz(I guess), etc.

Competition was fierce and when nfl 2k came out with those tight ass graphics and gang tackling....everybody had to step up

 

NBA Live used to be the shit back in the 90s but ain't nothing touching that 2k. Greatest basketball franchise ever

Dude I still don't get how none of these other slow pokes have caught onto to building your own player feature. The game is amazing but that feature puts it over the top. Damn can you imagine how that shit would look for football. BANANAS
