Now this is SCARY It is the IRS’s policy to read your personal emails without a warrant and that the IRS contends the Fourth Amendment doesn’t apply to email. http://blogs.marketwatch.com/taxwatch/2013/04/11/the-irs-reads-your-email/
Go Figure The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. The Fourth Amendment of the Constitution Americans' privacy and protects you from unreasonable search and seizure. It restricts the police from doing searches or from taking computers unless: They have probable cause to believe that they can find evidence that you committed a crime, and a neutral judge issues a warrant or In some situations, the circumstances justify a warrantless search
The IRS contends?? This is the Patriot Act's slippery-slope people talk about. It won't stop until we are under dictatorial, tyrannical Rule in the name of the U.S Govt. Seriously, can we do a mass/country-wide lawsuit...WE The PEOPLE vs The IRS? I see it getting to that.
What follow out? As long as people can buy ipads and keep themselves distracted they will let this roll just like GMOs just like drones and all the other shit they do. We have the most power populus the world has ever known but we are entirely either too distracted or too poor to make a noise about anything. I pray to see people marching in the streets, boycotting corporations who don't give a fuck about them while happily taking their money. But unfortunately they won't do anything until its far too late. The slightest bit of comfort is worth holding on to any delusion.
u might be right..occupy wall street didn't accomplish much gotta love the french tho you can be on either side of the gay marriage issue for example and appreciate the fact that they're willing to riot against their overlords http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/mar/24/french-anti-gay-marriage-protesters-clash-police
Exactly. Americans love living in the past and through other's accomplishments and sacrifice. I often ask myself what has my generation had to stand up for? Even my parents got off light because they didn't have struggle through the civil rights movement. We're a bunch of people (65 and under) who have never really suffered as a group. Sure we've had tragedies like the poverty and hunger in the 70s as well as incredible stagflation, in the 80s there were was crack, Reagan and the savings and loan scandal, the 90s were pretty tame outside of rising AIDS numbers, and September 11th showed the slightest blip of togetherness but then the crashing of the banks and the well know knowledge of specific people causing a crash but never going to jail for while getting tax payer money did nothing to galvanize us. Those of us who survived the initial shock wave of the last crash shrugged our shoulders and moved on while I brothers and sisters continued to suffer. Families losing their homes and having nothing to eat, being forced to live in tent towns or even worst their cars. Meanwhile the same people who caused their pain are getting richer because the rest of us continue to buy their cheaply made products by foreign hands under the bs delusion that it can't some how happen to us. Our government has all but turned its back on us and corporations don't deem us worthy of the investment even though we made them rich. One has to wonder when will be the tipping point, when will we see all we have is us because I for one have no interest in bowing to men who know nothing of honor nor decency. Men who believe this world is their playground and the rest of us are in their way. I don't begrudge the rich, I begrudge us for lying down. I begrudge us for ignoring what's right in front of our faces and allowing the pettiness of race, religion, and gender to distract us from the bigger truth. Either rise and move forward together or sit back and watch as everything and everyone we know dies off because its going to happen. The signs are there and they are only getting bigger and louder and if we think are above the suffering of those who have been persecuted than cast aside before us then we need to think again. We need to fight, there's no getting around it and even worst most of aren't going to make it. What ever apple pie in the sky life we thought we could have most of us won't. Everyday corporations are looking for ways to get rid of you, they make you unhealthy with their foods, make you dumber with their entertainment, and make you obsolete in their factories and offices by either outsourcing or automating everything. No profession is safe and this is all to build a utopia that you won't be a part of. A future with less disease, more pleasure, and greater discoveries without you. I don't say this to be an alarmist or even to be negative but I acknowledge that this is OUR fight, this is the test of our time of our generation and through every individual action we make either prepare for annihilation or the progress of the common person.
You are correct! Big brother is well and alive and marching slowly toward a dictatorial rule:smt079 they are now into reading my emails, flying drones over my head watching me, who care about our civil liberties "dot.Gov" got their hands and eyes everywhere, and We The PEOPLE vs The IRS would be one hell of a fight.
So what is the solution? Is this really TDK? A few words are missing, but what's there is all spelled correctly!!
Two reasons why this is 100% Lawful: 1) The United States is technically under Martial Law, so Constitutional Law only applies in Supreme Court cases. We actually function under Admiralty Law - "Since March 9, 1933, the United States has been in a state of declared national emergency. In fact, there are now in effect four presidentially-proclaimed states of national emergency: In addition to the national emergency declared by President Roosevelt in 1933, there are also the national emergency proclaimed by President Truman on December 16, 1950, during the Korean conflict, and the states of national emergency declared by President Nixon on March 23, 1970, and August 15, 1971." (None of these have ever been undeclared. Check it out for yourselves) 2) THE PATRIOT ACT (need I say more?)
I mus spread some... This situation is not unlike many others that we s the general public aren't aware of. Our government has gotten too big, beyond a reasonable persons reach and understanding. It now takes professionals, rights activist and conspiracy theorist to sort through all the bullshit rhetoric to catch things like this. But we only have ourselves as a collective to blame for this. We treat the government and business as if they are some alien culture not of ourselves. We the people, make up these institutions, therefore we are doing these things to ourselves. What you say, you didn't say this was okay, but it was your counterpart, an official elected by you. If you didn't vote for them, well... You need not even revert to Marshal Law, nor The Patriot Act. The verbiage is and was already there, hence another complexity of the problem. Loop holes such as these are exploited more often than not by agencies that don't have direct link. If there is a case the FBI wants to implicate you in, it's easy for them to call up the IRS so that they look for something specific, but oh, by the way, we ran across your coded detailing of your drug op's. Do you think that any governmental agency is going to let this type of cross investigation to go by the wayside.
They key is to free your mind from the Matrix, and understand what it is, and how to operate from within its confines like Neo. That movie dropped gems like a cat burglar with butterfingers. It was more than special effects and action. Those that know, know...those that don't, just don't. :smt036
Ha ha snarky. The best thing any of us can do is to prepare oursleves and teach ourselves. Start with keeping at least three months of food in the house for you amd your loved ones incase of disaster or job loss. Teach yourself to garden and grow some of your own food. Learn to be useful ie skills that your neighbors can use if you find yourselves in a situation where conventional methods are no longer available. Teach the younger ones the importance of loyalty and community as well as viable tech and ledical skilps because those jobs will be all thats left in the near future. Learn languages like spanish and chinese and/or proper english as well as computers. Be active in your local religious centers including the church and temples expand your thoughts of who you see as your neighbor because there will be far more people in the same boat as you than those who arent. Most importantly get fucking angry and dont confuse it with violence . Destroying ourselves will accomplish nothing but finding the fire and fight that has motivated so many before us is needed now. We need to address our politocal and corporate overlords. Fuck occupying wall st people should occupy the capitol in their area put faces to the anguish and keep going until you see changes. Dont settle for a few hours of news coverage while you try make it home for your favorite show. Watch old videos fpr entertainment or even better yet PBS so you can educate yourself. Stop buying shit from places that you know outsource or automate their processes. Stop choosing momentary convience over a future for yourself and your kids. Scratch that for oursrves and our kids see yourself in others make the connection. All we have is us forget clinging to the stuff. How you think and what you think about is the first step and be ever vigilant dont be distracted. Fuck the minor tragedies and keep youreyes on the ever growing ones. And make peace with the idea you may never enjoy the fruits of your sacrafice but others might and thats worth fighting for.
