Obama's Brain Initiative

Curious, nothing was mentioned on this one. I commend the President for wanting to explore the next frontier in mapping the human brain. Already he is being criticized for this project. Previous Presidents started mega projects like the Manhatten Project, Apollo, SDI, Human Genome, yet this President is being labled "disguised science in chief". Stop it Sean Hannity.

Note: Webmaster, do you think this forum is even needed anymore. There is not much interest in science and technology here, only in sex. Maybe you might want to eliminate this forum. Save your space for this site.

 

I think a better idea is to encourage people to post more in this thread rather than give the space over to more sex threads. We have enough of those. Jmo.

I do as well. My mom has an Biofeedback/Neurofeedback company and I tell you the stuff works. One of her clients was 14 with the brain of a 2 year old... after almost a year of sessions his family noticed a tremendous change in him to the point where he started using the bathroom by him self, few spoken words and even crying(which he had never done).

I thought i was the only one that thought this way. nuckas on here act like they aint never seen a ww before.

 

For black men and white women there need to be more representation in the sciences and technologies. In my area I see white women in roles that were traditionally white males only. One in particular is a robotics scientist. She is largely self taught and brilliant. Wish there were more black males in the new industries of the future. As long as the anti-intellectuals, anti-science and technology idiots control the minds and thinking of our young black males in the schools like what is happening in Atlanta's teacher disgrace scandal (no one want to talk about this, because of the union connection) there is NO hope. They will continue to be programmed to be nothing, useless and of no value to society.

 

Good point, however, if the interest is not there and the forum is there for the posting with all these scientific and technological wonders around us happening everyday in the media and there still is no interest. I would not hold my breath.

Goodlove is a prolific poster. I could not match him in terms of quantity. Besides with my hectic schedule I'm lucky to get here when I can. Thanks Ms. Chesbagrl for the advice.
