oh trust me............... i know i havent seen it but they got something going on i loved some ellen barkin back in the 90s that's her and larry fishburne from Bad Company
I saw that film. It also had Frank Langella in it. The ending confused me, though. I have to see it again. Look for Fled. Laurence Fishburne in a kiss with Salma Hayek. Ellen Barkin was in a film called Mercy with Julian Sands(Warlock, Warlock: Armegedeon)and Peta Wilson(La Femme Nikita, The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen). Peta tries to seduce Ellen and is nude in the film. It was based on a novel. The lead character was originally a Mexican named Palma. For this film, she is called Palmer.
i was a fan of his back in the 90s... warlock was the SHIT (i was like 11 or 12 when i seen it so maybe my taste in movies was crap) he also did this film called 'Boxing Helena' pretty.....interesting
Such a weird.bizzare movie. I liked it though. I watched it because Sherilyn Fenn piqued my interest from her Twin Peaks popularity and the fact that she tried to get out of doing this movie (if I recall correctly. Where's Gorath to set the story straight ) Edit: Well I was totally off about that. Can't find anything on her not wanting to do it, so I think I confused her with her character who resisted Julian Sand's character. Ha.
'black' sean and colleen gavin from 'Rescue Me' the show is rife with dark-comedic racism (its FX for crying out loud), so seeing them become a couple was like aww shit
It was Kim Basinger that pulled out of Boxing Helena - at the last minute. The studio successfully sued her, which led to her filing for bankruptcy. If you Google it you'll find plenty of sources to verify. QB
"Rescue Me" is still one of my all-time favorite shows (even though it's been off the air for almost 2 years). I even watch the re-runs when they come on FX. Big-ups to the writers for adding the IR couple.
I agree I really did not expect this but they get props for defying the norm by making sean a morally good guy who doesn't have any vices or sleeps around He's a responsible young brotha
Plus how the writers came up with a character called "Black Shawn" without actually sounding racist because there was already a white guy named Shawn in the fire-house.
What season was the Rescue Me episodes had the IR? I had just seen the first few seasons years back. Did Coleen Gavin quit drinking during that next or last season?
Season 5 I had to like shield my eyes over some of ur post, because i dont want spoilers :-D but yeah season 5, lengthy IR colleen and Bart (black sean) are major characters it's not like some one scene shit throughout the whole season..they actually get good time
