LA sounds like a solid bet. Haven't watched Real Salt Lake at all. Portland was looking good for a while as well.

Looking like Chelsea is through - despite the dickhead John Terry. Although I don't like Chelsea, I'd rather an English team.

I prefer a Spanish team (other than Real) or an English team as my second choice. But I cannot live with Real or Bayern at the top.

Is there anyway to change this thread's title to Soccer's 2012-2013 Season? There were some good comments in this thread about the beautiful game that would be cool to keep for future reference.

Great way for Beckham to return to England, with another championship under his belt.

All Hail Lionel Messi, the Record Breaker!

And the God-King of Football breaks the record, as expected. With 3.5 games left to go. He continues to amaze

Thought Chelsea was going to win the Club World Cup, but it instead went to Corinthians.

That was a bit of a surprise.

Sorry for dragging this old thread out of the grave, but it was the easiest futbol/soccer/football thread for me to find. I'm psyched because Deportivo is almost all the way out of relegation territory!

Yep, I'm always pulling for Stuttgart or Schalke, but it wasn't meant to be this year.

And Leeds United is just as far away from one as ever. They need to get to the Premiere League first. :(
