Chelsea Medua, A Black female nerd, started a Tumblr site dedicated to Black cosplayers. Because according to her "I follow many cosplayers on the Internet who I see at times get crude comments and remarks for just being black,"

"The site exists to inspire black cosplayers, to not make them feel alone in the community, or feel discouraged from cosplaying," she says. "The blog does not exist to prove anything to white people, to shame white people, or anything like that."

The Last of Us (PS3 Exclusive)

This is 100 times better than any of the seasons of The Walking Dead. Count on it.

They need to give Thor his helmet. The character feels off without it IMO. Guardians of the Galaxy I have mixed feels about. If they had Adam Warlock & Phyla-Vell in the mix I'd be more excited. If it does good box office that would be great for a sequel introducing one or both characters, especially if they intro Adam Warlock because they could battle against the Universal Church of Truth.

could be worse....coulda had iron man without his :p

but u know hollywood...in many genres they forgo headgear because they know handsome faces/actors sell films

i remember seeing that somewhere..and it makes logical sense...but when you consider chris evans (who by some is also considered to be a sex symbol like the thor guy) having his face covered, it's not holding water

His face wouldn't be obscured in anyway. He had it on for that brief part at the beginning of the first Thor. At the very least when they have him "armor up" for battle they could have him wearing it and not have it when he's armored down.....

I thought the same thing with Dead Pool in Wolverine. I was wondering where dude's mask was the whole time

Gun toting Raccoon! I cant wait.

I don't know if anyone else is familiar with Guardians of the Galaxy? But they also had a talking dog with Prof X level psychic powers, named Cosmo. I really hope he is in the movie.

Zoe Saldana in Talks to Star in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. As Gamora the green skinned warrior women.

This is terrible news to me, becauseZoe Saldana is so skinny it is distracting. When boney women play "tough chicks" it really brings you out of the story.

Agreed. Zoe's hot, not a hard-ass. I feel the same way about Halle Berry as Storm. They need to try casting Laila Ali or Gia Carano in these roles. Gina already proved she can carry the weight (especially with a few more acting lessons) in "Haywire".

Great pic on gina carano but I think hollywood perfers sleek and slender women. Like when they casted that skinny girl from Friday Nights Lights to be Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman was an Amazon Warrior not some model but they still went for skinny

    LucasArts Shuts Down

    My Take

It's sad to see a such a company go away. I actually enjoyed some of their Star Wars games, even Shadows of the Empire and the Rogue Squadron games for the N64. Having been through so much change and couldn't really keep up with the times, it was an inevitable outcome and I figured Disney would pull a fast one and get rid of the house that made some successful games.

But still, the lot of you are wondering the fate of the LucasArts made games, yah? Well, Disney owns all the licenses, so they will most likely be developed by Disney Interactive or some third party developer. It's nothing new, since there have been some developers who have handled their games with great grace.

Sad though...Star Wars 1313 was looking to be a winner here.

Hmmmm. If crime is legal to commit for a twelve hour period why are mofo's hiding their face? If you're ignorant enough to want to commit a crime then man or woman up and show your face when you do it. Pussy ass mofos.....

    lol

i posted this because it's one of those weird, alternate-reality type of films that caught my attention (and made me lock my windows)

imagine how insanely crazy shit would be for the 12 hours when 'anything goes'

as for hiding faces....my guess is to prevent retribution

notice how emergency services came on and said they would be suspended for the next 12 hours

crime is legal in that manner...no cops to stop u or whatever

If their is no crime why go for murder? Id just steal a U-haul truck and break down the door of Best Buy.

    lmao

    i know, rite?

mofos just going on straight murder rampages and shit

i'm pretty sure theft and stuff will be mentioned in the film...it can't all just be about killing people to 'release some steam'

Then mofos shouldn't be doing crimes that they think someone will want payback for. That shit is crazy. Almost like some real world take on the Hunger Games.
