yes and no... think of it like a different dialect in one language, there are differences in Churches but the foundation would still be the same.

Neither, I go to multi-cultural church.

I always feel weird and out of place going to majorly white church.

Black church just has to much going on, all that music and loud speaking is just too much for me. The people there are too nosey to. They meet you and 2 seconds later they start asking you personal questions.

? Why was a Muslim there? I mean, would she not feel its against her religion to do this. I might be missing something but I'm confused.

    Exactly.

I don't care what the differences are, as long as they don't use the differences to fuel comparison, comeptition, or hatred toward another church.

Churches are the biggest racket and hustle out today.

Ain't nothing in that Bible talks about Church.

Jesus didnt have no Church, he was on the street preaching the word to the mass'.

You ain't preaching no word to nobody sitting in a building with a 10,000+ membership on Sunday with a operating tax free budget in the seven figures.

If Jesus came back today, the Church will be the last place he would go. He would be on the streets of America and getting with the Pimps, Hustlers, Prostitutes, Poor, Addicts, Homeless, Drug Dealers, etc and preaching the word and performing the miracle with them.

He would be on the corner in the poorest neighborhood feeding and assisting the people nobody gives 2 fucks about.

If God/Jesus exists and returns.....it ain't gonna be a big flash of "I'm Here!". He will return and be on Earth for a extended period of time before the rest of the world realizes he is back.

He is not gonna return when the world is at war, a major natural disastor or pandemic or turmoil....he wil return when everybody has a job, eating good and got money in their pocket living the high life.

That's when he will return and catch everybody off guard!

Amen brother. I like the way you think. Churches are indeed scams and are worst than organized crime in how they suck the life out of many communities to support their grandiose life styles. You wonder why so many communities have gone into the dumps from the so-called reformed crooks out of prisons who have gone into the ministry. My prediction, the churches, especially in this country will become more vacant in the next twenty years and will fade from an increasingly secularists society that this country is becoming. My opinion alone.

We've always been a secular nation, and grounded in it as well.

But you are correct, with rapid changes, traditions die and new traditions start and in the end, and perhaps the best plausible course, is that people would find growth through personal, spiritual journeys than rely on an institution that's designed to keep people in a place of control.

However, I wouldn't count out the power of institution. If anything, religion in this country still remains strong and it's more like a business model than anything else. That's why it'll keep itself afloat. The Catholic Church in america has seen a bit of a decline in favor or other denominations and faiths.

Depends on the message being delivered. Whether it's boring or not.

Which to me is stupid. Anyone who believes in the divinity of Jesus is a Christian.
