I think the situation is a bit less severe. He has essentially eliminated the duck hook drives he was hitting at Augusta last year and his misses are mainly right rough now. His proximity to fairway stats are not bad either. Tiger outside of 2000 and spurts here and there has never been that straight off the tee as a pro. I think he can hit fairway woods and long irons off the tee at Augusta and is long enough to get himself birdie chances with mid irons for his approaches. I think his putting will be key especially clutch putting for 5-10 feet pars and 7-20 feet birdies. He has been close at august for years except for last year and the difference has been missing 8 foot putts for eagles and 3 putting for par inside 15 feet. If tiger can get 75 percent GIR and keep his wedges and putter hot he will win at Augusta. Rory is looking weak right now with the new equipment and contract. Phil is looking weak as well. who else is there to fear? Snedeker is looking really bad after a hot start. This is Tiger's best chance at a green jacket in YEARS. I agree with your thinking about the Opens and PGA though. Tiger doesn't like small greens and narrow fairways and the British is a dice shoot.
Don't know if tiger will win another green jacket what I so know he has to hit 5 -8 quality draws off the tee all 4 days as good as his ass is that is the one shot he just don't have right now, could be his injuries idk I do know he ain't winning next week hittin mid irons into those par 4's, he dominated thereflipping wedges on those greens 05 his last win there may been his last, the open he can win a bunch more old course is his track even more than bay hill, take cournasty out of the mix he is my favorite next 10 yrs over there
In the book "An Analysis of Tiger Woods Mental Game, Think Like a Tiger" by John Andrisani on page 106, para 2, "Use Your Imagination: Visualize a door swinging open, then closing, just as earl Woods told Tiger when he was a boy. This mental image will allow you to swing on the proper flat plane, come into impact with the toe of the club leading the heel, and impact overspin to the ball virtually automatically". I'm finding in my own personal research just how important mental mastery, concentration, focus, and visualization is in the performance of anything you do. I have uncovered some fascinating information by Dariusz Norwicki, Ph.D, World renowed East European sports psychologist and Poland's gold medal Taekwondo Champion, in his fascinating book "Gold MedaL Mental Workout for Combat Sports" the same elements that were mentioned in Tiger's golf preparations since he was a child. I'm not surprise he is back at number one. Imagine if the schools taught these mental skills to our children and what a nation we could become.
I think he has "a" draw in his bag but not a high draw off the tee with driver. I saw him hit a low draw a few times at doral and a few times at Bay Hill but he definitely favors a fade with the foley swing. Another interesting stat is he is around 10th in scoring from the left rough so he is able to play from that side well enough and I definitely remember some dogleg left holes during his winning weeks. i would be money he is working on that shot right now. He will definitely bet in contention at Augusta and have his chances in majors this season. Time is running out for him.

Ok, so... is it safe to say women help him perform better. Specifically, blondes improve his game? I realize he's been rehabilitating that injury for the past few years but he's really starting to heat up on the course now that he has a new lady in his life. Whatever it is, it's all working again and it feels like the old Tiger is back.
