Apparently some people believe there is some ownership in the whole love by race motif.... As of now..I'm debating whether I should respond and post my two cents on there. :smt069
The comments on hater site always disgust me. It's bad enough that all these negative things get said about black men dating white women but biracial men. Come on now. Why do these women try to claim men who are also white. Who have white mothers. I hear all this yap about a man should be attracted to women who look like their mother then the minute a biracial man dates a woman that is the same color as his mother it doesn't matter. Eh just ticks me off b/c I have two biracial sons and I be damn it's going to piss me off if I hear ppl saying there is something wrong with my sons being attracted to women who are the same color as me. Note I do understand that this is not the general feeling but for those few that do exist it just irritates me. I can shrug off the fact they get pissy about my husband choosing me b/c of my skin tone but my sons SMH.
There's this thing called sex. When a black man has sex with a white woman and produce a child/children guess what that child/children are usually most commonly called? Nope. Nothing to do with black men/white women on any level.........
I do recall the writer for this bit of snooping saying that Shemar Moore is "not relevant." Yet, they still put him in their crosshairs. Shemar Moore is appealing to just about any woman. Did you know that while he was on The Young & The Restless, he took part in a little pose down between Don Diamont(Brad Carlton) and Rob Morrow(Nick Newman)? Shemar was voted by the female co-stars who judge it that he had the best body. Shemar said he worked out a little too hard for his physique so he had to cut down. Maybe hater site is not staffed by black women, but white men who hung around black beautyshops.
I agree with all your points, I am biracial but that doesn't stop some BW from giving me diss for being with WW. I've even been told "You're mixed, you're suppose to be with BW because mixed BM are tailor made for BW" :smt120
I agree. I remember when Shemar Moore made the movie "The Brothers" they were being interviewed and one of the actors mentioned something negative about dating WW. I believe it was the phrase you mentioned that I put in bold. I always thought that was weird and ignorant since Shemar's mom is white. During the interview he was quiet and said nothing when the subject was brought up. I always worndered how he felt. Some people are just ignorant.
This is what it boils down to. The moment someone makes my kids feel "less than" because they're biracial...shit will hit the fan. :smt018
