I wouldn't mind if my lady stayed home and did those things, and let me bring in the $$$. I'd even work 2 full-time jobs. I love being a hunter, gatherer, provider and protector.

Trust me I'm not judging, my ultimate dream in life is make enough money so my girl can choose to work if she wants to but never has to.

TDK, I'm so disappointed in these posts. I'd thought you were past the broad generalizations of women wanting to be stuck in the 50's, not voting nor wearing pants, nor having any kind of social responsibility. You know better, step out of the cave and come to the light son. :wink:

 

Please don't put your dream of having a stay at home wife as being the reality of women everywhere. You know there's plenty of us that would go insane if we had to stay home to cook and clean all day for a man.

Actually, nevermind. I don't know why I engage in this type of conversation. Believe what you will, and I'll happily go on proving that the stereotype is wrong.

 

Slow down Amazon I'm saying women in general(not all) would prefer to have the choice to work but not HAVE to work. See the difference boo? Not knocking your drive and ambition but as of late I've been around and see so many women professionals and menial workers alike who would give it all up to live on a beach drinking mai thais lol
And to be clear I never said I want a stay at home wife just the ability to give my lady a great life where she doesn't have to worry about money
