yeah...I definitely didn't expect quite this much snow. These meteorologists play guessing games it seems 99% of the time. I think this time they might have guessed right!

Not complaining. Its nice to have a day off since I worked all last weekend. Playing w the little ones is enjoyable ...especially after breakfast is on the table lol

 

The problem here is that LOTS of places closed - schools, offices, etc. - in anticipation of this storm which, for us, didn't materialize. Had the temp dropped a mere 4 degrees, it would've been a different story. I'm hearing that there is still some snow on its way here. I'll believe it when I'm out shoveling it. Lol.

 

definitely understand this. Far too often, precautions taken in anticipation for a snow storm can sometimes be premature. might want to prepare to shovel this time

Chero, do you have snow yet?? We are anticipating a foot in Philly....did it hit you or not yet? Usually we get what you guys in the DMV get...
Now it IS windy as fuk..the windows feel like they're going to shatter.

 

They had us under a watch, then a warning, then a watch and now back to a warning. I'm dizzy. Just get the snow over with already. :roll:

 

These sound like good problems. Do you really want to remove 8-12 inches of snow. At my home in the burbs, I had to remove just over a foot of snow from a driveway and sidewalks from an area to about the 25yard line of a football field. Which is fine, I'm used to it, but then help others remove theirs as well without a snowblower. I can't even imagine how it is in the norther suburbs which typically get hit double as hard.

 

yep! Its been snowing for almost 24 hrs now (probably not constant) and we have a good 4-6 inches

not certain, I'm not venturing downstairs to measure it lol

It is a good problem for me. Snow is beautiful - until I have to shovel it.

 

Got about 6 inches of snow here last Wednesday.... but by Thursday afternoon, it all melted.... Now it's just going to start getting hotter and hotter... just in time for "fighting season"...

It has already started... it was below freezing last week, now it's about sixty and it's 9:30 at night...

 

I check in every now and then... just don't bother signing in because internet here is unpredictable....
