With that being said, there should be an overhaul with congressional spending....starting with the allowances of the house and senate members.
What's interesting is how Congress is trying to get rid of Pensions, SSI, Medicare, Medicaid and other social services that Americans need....but they have not made any mention of cutting their pay/benefits. They also have successfully convinced Americans that getting getting Social Services that they earned is a "entitlement"
Those conservatives should get rid of all of their entitlements and stick with private entitlements since they think the government was bad for everyone else. The ones who are millionaires in the Senate should theirs cut first.

ALL the compensation they receive is a lot like welfare. They accomplish nothing, accept no responsibility and still get paid.
And that pretty much sums up the life of a politician. Yet we keep voting for these dummies hoping for the best.
The GOP Congressmen earn more than any welfare person several times over. They are just very hypocritical and arrogant. Even if they are safely gerrymandered I wonder if the people would have their governmental services cut?
