The company behind the "Girls Gone Wild" video series featuring scantily clad young women drinking, dancing and stripping, has filed for bankruptcy protection citing $16 million in debts, according to court papers obtained on Thursday.

Privately owned GGW Brands filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in U.S. federal court in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles company said in a statement ..............

This is proof-positive that nothing lasts forever. The line's founder built his company and in a short time. he makes hundreds of millions of dollars. There was a similar video line called Dreamgirls. It had more of an edge than other video lines where each competitive videographer covers the same scene but from different angles. It's like a feeding frenzy. But that, of course, was before Youtube, FaceBook, Break.com and others.

So theypre saying, lot's people still want to see women bounce around a bit will they show their tit, but the law has them distracted right now.

Why would I want to waste my time on GGW when I could go to the many free porn hubs and find a full length hardcore video? JUs sayin:smt102

Pornhub and xvideos.com. Both are good. Xvideos has a bigger selection.

It's not going out of business. GGW is only filing Chapter 11 to avoid paying alleged debts to Wynn Casinos. The company claims that it's still fiscally strong. They'll keep putting out product. The bankruptcy is a means to restructure its obligations. It's actually an attempt to avoid going out of business. Corporations do this all the time. American Airlines is in bankruptcy right now but the planes are still flying.

Why pay 19.95 to watch a bunch of naked drunk chicks fall off tables and slip in bath tubs when you can see them getting fucked for free on theinternetisforporn.

Not shocking. That idiot has probably been partying too hard for too many years now and the economic downturn finally got him. And if I remember right, didn't he have to fight off one or two lawsuits in his day??? Poetic justice.

He did. He also stood trial for tax evasion. He bought a beach house in Mexico to party in. One young woman took him to court simply for asking if she'd participate. She was asked by the camera crew and she said no. They left her alone and did not approach her again. I guess she was suing GGW because they approached her and they shouldn't have done that. Silly, but true.

I never understood the whole Girls Gone Wild popularity. From the looks of it, it's just a crappy mid-softcore porn.
