yes I suppose so, it is quite a wide-spread phenomenon lol! I have never wanted that kind of man, but I do seem to have attracted them likes flies to crap haha. And thank you he really does seem to be a gem, but hey, its only been a month, and I've been horribly wrong before lol x
Since you guys got nice guys down to a science, what the fuck is a "bad boy" and what makes them actually "bad"? Don't y'all get sick of silly labels?
lol it isn't a science to me. some men are dicks, some arent. Just as some women are dicks, and some arent. hey, thats about as scientific as it gets for me!
Yes, but it helps to categorize (although usually not completely accurately), the human experience. When I was younger (17-22 years old), I was not a nice girl thus didn't care about the boys and if they were nice or not. I did me and I did it with a vengeance. Then I got married to a man whom I thought was nice - turns out I'm not a great judge of character nor a good partner lol. Been through a minor relationship or two since then and have realized that the only bad boy (or nice guy) that I want in my life is a four legged fur baby. Even Jesus himself couldn't get me interested in a date nowadays... Maybe in a year or two (or a couple of months - after the boards), I'll be in a better head space when it comes to dating. Just being honest with y'all and myself.
Yes, but sometimes it's not obvious who is what at first blush. Lots of not-so-good people posing as good people and by the time you discover that, you've developed feelings and then you feel like an idiot for having been had. :smt102
Exactly! This is why I'm so guarded irl. Not ideal, but you either learn from your mistakes or you continue to play the fool. This girl's not playing anymore...I've officially given up on any man with a neck tattoo
My grandma always told me "when you first meet someone, that isn't really them...it's their representative. the real person takes at least 6 months to surface."
