CNN) -- Serena Cervantes has been struggling to earn her bachelor's degree for seven years.

With tuition for two courses at her California university demanding $2,300, it's not the workload that has her putting off the final class she needs to graduate in May.

Money is tight.

Like the article mentioned...it's hard to prosecute because these agreements masquerade as 'relationships'. I doubt this girl is publicly admitting to having sex for money (maybe I read the article too quickly?). I think she said it was 'on the table', but not that she'd specifically done it.
