He was already killed off by the Joker in the Killing Joke graphic novel.

The Joker killed Jason Todd by a vote from fans.

Ignore my earlier post. It was in a Death in the Family not the Killing Joke.

Bruce Wayne's son is Robin? I recall that Bruce Wayne had a romance with the daugher of Ras Al Guhl, Batman's most feared enemy(Ras Al Guhl always respected and admired Batman). He knew everything about Bruce Wayne/Batman. Damien Wayne was spoiled and self-centered. But deep down he wanted to be like his father Bruce.

How many times Robin was killed off? The comics are now getting to be like a published soap opera.

Considering the big gimmick in comics for the last few years has been to kill off characters only to have them come back with in a 6 months to a year period this is not news. Especially since Damien Wayne is the grandson of Ra's Al-Ghul and he has the Lazaruz Pits at his disposal, so he'll be resurrected, aged to adulthood somehow and turned into a weapon against Batman in some gimmick event to come down the road......

not because of comics. These kids today don't appreciate the comics and the intricate story lines the way us old heads do. My nephew loves The Avengers and I'm more of a Justice League fan. I tried to debate him about who was better based on some comic book knowledge. Dude ignored me and just popped in his dvd.
    Kids today lol

I know how that is. I try to teach my nephew about superhero comic book origins like Spider-Man or Batman. I even try to show him the films on cable and on youtube. When we are watching a superhero film, he always asks questions. I tell him to pay attention. He has not yet learned the art of observation.

Like The Red Hood. Or The Winter Soldier who happened to be Captain America's friend and sidekick, Bucky Barnes, who was also resurrected.

    Ya'll take your comics seeer-i-ous!

I thought this was kind if ironic (just having mentioned the resurrections) that this was a main news article today....

8 absolutely ridiculous ways comic book characters have been brought back from the dead

Robin will be killed off in an upcoming issue of the Batman comic book series.
If history is any guide, he'll be resurrected via an absurd plot device soon enough

yes....we are serious because comic book literature is serious. the death of this hero supplement has large implications in every facet of life and our economics.

Of course you wouldnt understand this fine literature as such.

The Archies had been around since the late 1940's. Had a cartoon series in the mid 1960's along with a one-hit wonder called Sugar, Sugar. There was a live-action made-for-tv movie in the mid 1990's. And despite the times and trends, they are going strong and enduring.

Betty and Veronica were in a Tijuana Bible where they were portrayed as lesbians who then experience two black guys. In the end, after realizing that they enjoyed it, Betty says,"I guess we did our part in improving race relations." I think I posted this info earlier.
