Can't do that. My husband's a country boy...he's likes the space and the quiet. It's ok...I make a fuss over it, but I don't really care that much. LOL

Interesting, I think Aussies are a special bunch. Many are so down to earth. That is so cool.

This is a hard one.. we are sort of nomadic because man is a musician.

Split our bases between Africa and Australia with travel in between.

You need to be willing to spend time where he is from (and vice versa) to really understand each other, you aren't just marrying some dude with black skin after all it's about culture as well.

Hah.. aww. Well we are fortunate we have the opportunity to do that career- wise, but it wasn't always easy I guess. Never understood the women who marry African men but don't even want to go to Africa, seems like a sham to me.

I don't understand that either. The parts of Africa I've been to are amazing, I'm forever grateful to my mother for taking me there the first time and my man for luring me back over and over. :)

I just want to to stay in a nice apartment in a nice city, like maybe in New York.

I want something very different: some land, on the waterfront, a nice house with room for visitors (because it will be such a great location, family will want to come a lot :) ), and away from the big city - but close enough that I can enjoy a weekend in the city without too much trouble getting there. I've already got my place in mind.....

Oh, and it's in Canada :D

I'd live in New Jersey or the Hawaiian Islands. Internationally, it would be Switzerland, Florence, Italy, Japan, Panama, Montreal, Quebec and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

my partner is from the same country as me, he is Jamaican, but came to live in England when he was very young (four I think).
If kids weren't involved, and he needed to move back there, I would go with him in a heartbeat.
Wouldn't matter where it was, I would just want to be with him anywhere.
But kids are involved, and I could never uproot my kids and take them away from their lives and their father.
