I think it realllly depends for me. Sometimes it can be really great. But some "Dry" senses of humor can be... mean spirited. Sarcasm can seem like bitter cynicism, instead. That is not appealing to me. When your sense of humor makes you seem like a jerk, it's a turn off. I like a sense of humor which makes me feel like the guy is a nice person just looking to have fun; if it's that type of dry humor, I think it's great. But if it's the bitter, sarcastic kind, that's not really my type.
This works too. Good post. I don't like bitter or cruel humor. Another type of humor that's off-putting is those that try real hard to be funny, but they aren't. Or those that get stuck on sexual humor - it's like that's all they are capable of thinking about. Gets really old, real quick.
Agreed, & I'm not a fan of constant goofy, but it's fun once in a while. But well placed intelligent wit or sarcasm - wow, love that! And if he has a very dark sense of humor like mine = perfection in a man.
I can relate to it. If a man (or anyone) has dark humor like mine, I can be myself with them, not the nice good girl that everyone thinks that I am....
