A former Los Angeles cop who had allegedly warned he would target law enforcement in retribution for being fired is now suspected of shooting at least two officers early Thursday, killing one, authorities said.

The shootings -- which come a day after Irvine, California police named Christopher Jordan Dorner as the suspect in a double slaying there Sunday -- sparked a huge manhunt in Southern California.

Christopher Jordan Dorner, 33, a former LAPD officer and Navy reservist, known to be a skilled sniper. Officials warned that he is armed and dangerous.

San Diego police have confirmed that a wallet containing a badge and ID of Dorner was found near Lindbergh Field

Wow. Very terrifying. Did not take the time to read the whole manifesto, but appears he has very descriptively laid out the details IHO of all that led up to his actions...which astounds me. Going to have to check back and read this when I can find some time.

Very sad people lost their lives, however. RIP.

Our own legal analyst Robin Sax dug up 21 documents related to the instances of alleged police corruption that ex-LAPD officer, Chris Dorner detailed in his online manifesto. Among the documents are Internal Affairs information, Court of Appeals documents and more. You can check them all out at the links below:

    Sad.
LAPD is still corrupt as hell.
This cop lost his job over some straight bullshit because bad cops are protecting other bad cops, and now he's about to go RAMBO on Southern California.

I don't know how long this brotha can stay covert and make the number of kills he expects to make, but I kinda agree with most of his beefs except the way he's chosen to deal with the corruption he's faced in LAPD.

IMO if you're that disgusted by what's going on in LAPD, call a reporter, tape record and videotape everything then quit.

This shit will NOT end well.
And it didn't have to happen is the sad part.
Ex LAPD officer Dorner reported his female partner for repeatedly kicking a handcuffed suspect in the chest and face, a female police officer who had an extensive record for using excessive violence and HE'S the one who got fired after a departmental investigation in which her attorney disclosed behind closed doors to the board she indeed kicked the alleged suspect.

They destroyed his career over bullshit.
This muthafucker is SERIOUS and willing to die, which he surely will. RIP.

Hopefully you analyst(s) have done your homework. You are aware that I have always been the top shot, highest score, an expert in rifle qualifications in every unit I’ve been in. I will utilize every bit of small arms training, demolition, ordnance, and survival training I’ve been given.

If Chris Dorner wanted to clear his name why did he have to take people's lives. Murder, mayhem and terror are not wise options. He should have gone to the press with this after leaving the force.

Confused - I read one news report that he was fired for reporting a fellow cop, another or for lying about an instructor? The media suck in their rush to scoop.

I heard on the news that he basically has been planning this since July 31st when he essentially 'went off the tracking wire'. Cops believe he has a 2nd hide-out spot all set in place. This might be a while.

I wonder if he saw combat as a Navy reservist....if so, that might explain some of his behavior...

Wow, I'm sure the Left media are in a quandry over that one...will they down play it or run with it. Hmmmm.....

He also said he didn't vote for Obama, loves Michelle's bangs, joined the military after reading Colin Powell's autobiography and cited George H.W. Bush as his 2nd favorite POTUS after Bill Clinton.

People are going to have a hard time putting this dude in an ideological political box.

He's some of this, some of that.
I think most of all he's against being screwed by the system just because he did the right thing.

I mean, what do you do if you're a cop and your partner is kicking the shit out of a suspect who's already handcuffed??
You're told to report fellow police misconduct, and yet they destroyed this man's career for it.

Personally I think it's an LAPD problem specifically, in that the LAPD might be the most corrupt law enforcement department in the entire country.
