Those anti abortion people are a piece of work it is easy to kill a abortion provider than to help take care of the mothers with a large number of kids.

 

it saddens me that people use their children as commodities these days with the birth of reality tv. the seriousness and weight of the responsibily of bringing a life into this world seems to be missed.

i fully support sterilisation of certain individuals. if we can sterilise an animal, why not a person who has no thought of the life they're bringing into the world?

Was tv ever any good? I'm proud to say I don't even have cable tv service any more. Whatever kind of stuff you like to watch, there's plenty of it on the web.

I was paying $125 for tv, plus internet, plus phone.

Got rid of phone (I use my cell and have magicjack as a back up).
Got rid of tv (I have a high def cable going from my laptop to my flatscreen, so I still get the "lean back" tv experience for all the stuff I watch online)

And now I save about $75 per month.

The funny thing is, as soon as you reduce your services to only web, the cable company is going to come with a special deal to try to get you back to taking all three... Now they're offering me all 3 services for just $79.99 since it costs them the same whether they're delivering all 3 or just web. Try it you'll see - they'll be trying to get you back at a real savings for you.

But I'll never go back. There's so much tv on the web these days that if you need much more than that, you need to get a life. People don't say it much, but tv is one of the reasons behind the obesity epidemic - people just sitting there mesmerized and munching.

The web falls short only when it comes to sports, but you can get that too for cheaper than what you'd get through cable tv. For example, I think a whole season of football online is like $40.

That stuff comes out of the fact that kids are making up their own values as they go along, with no one to guide them. Their fathers have failed them, not the reverend al. Their father's values have failed them.

I don't hate them but they ignore all the serious issues happening in the black community. The race problems in other places around the US have to addressed. But I think the problems in the black community take priority.They have the resources to better address these issues. The people in some communities that target blacks are never going to change. They should be going after the racist drug laws, after school programs,defunding of schools,etc.Work with companies like black enterprise to teach people how to start and run businesses.
