I'm always wary of people who make it a point to let everyone know what they prefer. I've pretty much have only dated white women but I don't scream it from the hills, its not necessary

Same thing with me. Well I've dated black women too, but I've realized that my preference is white women, but I don't say that I ONLY go after white women or something or even scream it. It's just a bit immature and it'd be silly for me to totally disqualify on race of women as attractive. Seriously...I'm a man after all.

Funny thing is her cousin has a huge crush on me.

I don't need to announce it, my friends seem to think they need to do it for me instead. Man walks in a room, shows some interest in me and then out of someone's mouth "she only likes black men". Thanks mouth piece

    I'd find that annoying personally.

You're singing to the choir my friend.
Every white woman that walks by they feel that needs to be announced. "Hey there goes a white chick for you"

It annoys me when women constantly state that they only date "X" whatever x is (whether it be gender, race, people with a certain job, etc.). It's ok to have preferences and I don't even care if you limit yourself to only one, but it's very annoying when they just come out of the blue and state this.

it happens...all i can truthfully say is move on to the next one

ive found more willing than i have that were against it

this, i don't know why people seem to cling on (and probably make matters worse) by pursuing a person with no interest in them

I don't think anyone has said they want to pursue those kind of people. Of course one should move on and not sweat it but how would you feel if... actually never mind. It's truly one of those things you have to experience to really get it. I feel what you're saying but when it seems like you are constantly being told that you aren't good enough its bound to leave a few scars.

I think people in here agreed with me when I said someone having to feel that they need to state their preference is obnoxious and tasteless. Like with my friend...heh like I said I wonder what her children who are 100% Mexican think when she says that she "only likes white boys?"

I have a preference but damn how the fuck would I look like repeating that I don't like black women or w/e (which isn't true BTW just an example) around the women of my family esp my sister?

I can feel that. Really have to not take it personal. I was telling my friend that if someone rejects me, they don't know me, so why sweat it? She kinda disagreed with me until I mentioned that.

then it is what it is, the person might not actually be saying one isint good enough for them, just they have no interest or feeling towards them, that's just how people are in the world these days
