I've been practicing my typing on my laptop and I can get up to 61 wpm (words per minute). This site here http://www.typeonline.co.uk/typingspeed.php lets you read the text, type it down as fast as you can, and when you're done, it shows you the result. My first time with this site, I was 51 wpm, now I'm 61 wpm. I'm quite proud of myself!

I wonder if anyone on here still uses AOL or the AIM system? I still remember those days when AOL 4.0 use to dominate everyone's homes simply because you had more flexibility to establish your own personal page. Besides, who could forget this?

True, but I'm mainly talking about AOL - the program web browser that really took the world by storm.

I haven't touched it in the longest time. Last I used it was back in 2006, but at that same year, because of that little issue with TOS violations, I decided to cancel it and rely on Yahoo and internet explorer, then FireFox.

And now...I primarily use Google Chrome.

Ehhh, I used to run AOL with my first pc during the days of Windows 98 and NT 5.0 and 2000, but when Win. XP came along, I stopped using AOL and switched to Hotmail--used it since the days of XP and the current days of Windows 7 and 8. (I run Windows 7.....8 really isn't for me lol)

Oh yeah! When XP came along, I was pretty pleased with what was delivered. But I went to checking out Yahoo and Windows Live Messenger as well. It's interesting...hotmail was my thing at one point, but I predominantly use Yahoo Email instead.

My initial turn to use Hotmail and Yahoo was Windows XP, but I didn't use them much until the days of Windows Vista, from 2006.

True, and that's when we actually had some advancements in these software programs.

Yup! Actually, I was watching a video on someone trying to launch the latest hotmail on the old Windows NT 4.0 and it was a fail. it'd only launch AOL hahaha!

No but it said that the latest version of MSN Hotmail couldn't be used due to lack of OS support. XD

Wishing my fellow Aussies out there a true dinks, fair dinkum, bonza, true blue Invasion Day. May it be spent with loved ones, a BBQ, alcohol and jimmy Barnes, Chisel, INXS and Crowded House.

I am, you are, we are Australians
