I'm upset that Leo and Sam Jackson didn't get nominations. It's ridiculous. They were awesome. Much better than Alan Arkin and Tommy Lee Jones were in their movies.

So... Haven't been on here in a few days.. Let's recap. I got fucked over at work because the holiday bonus I should have received was not given to me because I did not meet all of my sales metrics. Therefore, I lost out on a $500 bonus check. They also only paid me for 4 hours Christmas day and New years day, considering I worked the day before and the day after each of those holidays I should have been paid more than 4 lousy ass hours. My commission check was supposed to be $370 from the phones that I sold through the month of December. I only received $110 of it because again, I did not meet my metrics. Which by the way, metrics has absolutely nothing to do with my commission. Last but not least, the other day it was raining bad in Mandeville, so as I was turning into the parking lot to go to work, some lady decided she didn't want to wait, so she got on the shoulder of the road as I was turning in the parking lot, and hit the side of my car. Now I have a dent that needs to be repaired, which I can do myself, but that could have been so much worse. Not to mention, she has no insurance and if I make a claim for something that would only cost $100 to fix, my rates would go up. On a brighter note, I have an interview at Tulane tomorrow... so hopefully that goes well.

 

Court early in the morning. If C is being truthful, the DA will ask for a week's extension on the plea agreement because the police want to do an exit interview. They think he has information on both narcotics and gun running in the city. He tells me that he does.

I'm going, because I need to hear things from the DA, not C's mouth, since he has zero credibility with me.

I just wish this crap would get wrapped up. It's weird, but I find the court stuff stressful. Never having been in a criminal court before, seeing someone you are used to seeing in a suit sitting in an orange jumpsuit with his hands cuffed behind him is very surreal.

 

Good luck tomorrow, Pixie. Sorry you have to go through this. Hopefully, the court intervention is what your friend needs to jolt him into making a change.

If you own an iphone, knowing some English maybe isn't a must but it sure is convenient.
