Don Cheadle Stars in 'House of Lies' on Showtime

I'm shocked no one else has been commenting on this thread, there is some good scenes with Marty and his ex wife in this show.

 

I saw most of the episodes of that show and enjoyed it. Loved it since his character swirled more than once. This show I will buy the season pack.

 

One of my favorite shows for sure. Judging by the last episode it kinda looks like Marty and Jeannie might start fucking around. Which is kinda disappointing. Maybe its just me but I rather their relationship stay platonic. She's the only chick he hasn't smutted out and discarded. Plus she views him as a kinda father figure.

 

I hope it not goes so deep since she is not considered a "sex buddy" but, a equal.

 

I dig the corporate BM most of all and how Marty is a SHARK! I thought he was going to get done in by the Rainmaker but he had a saving grace and the merger got called off.

"Never fish of the company pier" is my motto always and I hope Marty doesn't wake up next to Jeannie after the last episode.

 

Season 2 just premiered last night on Showtime and Cheadle also won a Golden Globe for his performance in season 1.

Congrats to the homeboy who does a great job with that show.

 

Don Cheadle had done many films including his role as Hightop in Colors with Sean Penn and Robert Duvall. He surprised me with his portrayal of Sammy Davis, Jr. in the film The Rat Pack( he looked very much like Sammy than Ray Liotta as Frank Sinatra and Joe Mantegna as Dean Martin). I think actress Megan Dodds play Mai Britt. Congratulations to him.

 

Marty and Jeannie hooked up. She's falling for him now.

True, but she was drunk when she said it, later on when she was sober and remembering, she seemed mortified that she said it. I would be very surprised if the show got them together as a couple, the sexual tension is better for the story lines to keep them apart as well as hollywood's aversion to IR.

 

Besides,I want Cheedle's character to keep on swirling season after season. Sure there is some sexual tension but,if they get tight it would not be a series. There no such series in the US with that much swirling by a Black man.
