here is where you lack common sense. all of the mass shootings one thing was common....loughner and CO. the gun jamming or empty clip.

loughner had 30 rnds in 15 seconds killing six wounding 13.....afterwards they were able to tackle him. CO the gun jammed and he gave up.

what does that tell you? also asny gun fight is not gonna last over 30 seconds anyway. if it does....they arent after your tv set.....you pissedf them off.

All the people who die in speeding accidents are usually going over 55 miles an hour. No cars that do more than 60. Only cop cars should be able to do 100 or more. Also since the legal limit for alcohol is .08 no one should be allowed more than two drinks at a bar and should have to take a breathalizer before entering.

This morning, I was listening to an interview on NPR regarding what this newspaper did. The host was speaking with a Mayor or Congressman, (I'll edit this once I get the name), who said the paper had also asked for the names and addresses of his constituents and he order that the paper be denied the info.

They discussed the right to information verus the right to privacy, and he said that under law you cannot claim the right to info if u seek that info for profit. He said he will take the paper to the highest court if they try to override the denial.

He said once they list the names of mentally ill, he will re-consider. He said that they don't publish names of rape victims or criminal children because there is a code of ethics and he sees no redeeming reason for it.

But the worst part was this: he said cops and retired cops names are on that list, and now people that they have arrested and such....know where they live, and they are furious.

He said that domestic violence victims and stalked victims who are in hiding and who obtained a gun for protection, now are exposed. He said he has gotten hundreds of calls from tearful, terrified women...

You know, earlier I watched 60 Minutes's interview with Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor....
and she said she worked for the DA's office and after a while had to leave it. She said not until working there did she realize that there are truly evil people in this world. It was getting to her because she was losing faith in humanity. She reiterated that pure evil humans do exist.

People don't realize that not everyone is like you, aka normal. The Taliban will behead you for singing and dancing at a party, the monster in Sandyhook will point a gun at a terrified kids and shoot them over and over. The bastard in CO will dress in costume and open fire on movie watchers and set booby traps for cops. They aren't listening to your kombeya speeches of "spare me, I'm a peaceful person" logic. a car have an extreme amount of regulations and restrictions.

The Jim crow laws were unconstitutional and gun control was started out of racism in this country. Even today in NC you have to get a permit to purchase a gun. (A hold over from jim crow laws) That was designed so your local sheriffs office can descriminate against blacks. Similar laws for gun control was enacted throughout the south to deny blacks to protect themselves. Why else would MLK be denied a gun permit in his state. You and Good Love are the ones here now showing lack of appeciation for the struggles civil rights leaders have endured for our rights. Now you want to imply what kind of white person or uncle tom I would have been in the 50's? No one called you an Uncle Tom or implied you had no appreciation for the Civil Rights struggle.

When you say to someone if they don't like the laws as they are, they should leave the country, that 'love it or leave it' attitude was the mindset of many segregationists towards the North.
