If you recall, I said that these photoshopped women were part of the reason that society has an unreasonable expectation and standard of beauty. No one looks like those women, NOT EVEN THOSE WOMEN. For fuck's sake, get some sense in that head of yours.

You were drooling over the image that some balding man behind a Mac made for your consumption. And if you watch the media these days, more and more people are calling out these ridiculous photoshopped images.

What I do to my body is no business of yours -how dare you try to make it an insult that I changed who I am. Who I am INSIDE did not change. I still see those images and think they're abso-fucking-lutely ridiculous, and I have no problem saying so. Skinny, as created artificially in a lab, is not pretty. Strong is pretty. Healthy is pretty. Emaciated with no muscle tone, as falsely created by those photoshopped images (because those women are often toned and beautiful in their own ways, which they remove and smooth away) is NOT pretty.

 

I can't find the post where TDK piggy backed on the original question, by asking if a man's stock dropped, can he bring it back up...

I definitely believe anyone can choose to be a better person and do better. Mind is the master creator of both of the inner garment of a person's character and the outer garment of their circumstance.

As long as you believe in yourself and have the drive to get yourself to where you want to be, you are bound to do better.

I just hate to see someone give up, hopelessly when times get tough.

Furthermore, if a man is not responsible enough to take care of his children (same can apply to a woman), they lose major points. In the end, they are the master of their own fate. For me, I don't believe you can rebound from the impact you made on your family's lives...that's a deal breaker.
