Said the guy who calls all us chicks here, DUDE. Lol anyway 'mate' is like buddy. Pal. Dude. :D

Yeah the rural poverty I figured as much. We don't see it, hence it's well hidden.
But my only question is how much of the hunger is attributed to lack of food, versus the funds allotted to feed the child is being abused by the parent. Aka drug abusers, or selling their stamps to spend on booze or smokes, or indifference to the social services avail to help feed the child, to outright neglect. I've seen this abuse of the system first hand - he had 4 kids, and when those welfare checks came in, they almost all went up his nose. His girls would often go hungry and we'd have to help feed them. Another thing we know the Govt has is the school breakfast and lunch programs and they are now instilling dinner as well in some States. Anyway, interesting stuff and as always, donating (healthy) food is always a good thing.

That's a good point which is why I think utilizing food banks would be a far better way of distributing food than a check that can be bartered. Also keep in mind the urban poverty is hidden in plain sight. Just like you said people will squander the welfare checks on everything but food yet find a way to have their kids looking "fresh" because that's what matters to those idiots. Its incredibly sad and difficult to even think about at times but it has to be addressed.
Thanks for the feedback mate lol

Is the purpose of a TOY gun to kill?? Is the purpose of a TOY car transportation?? GTFO!! :smt030

I played with capguns as a small kid. But if my mom saw me more than once taking that gun and pointing it at other kid's heads directly touching their domes, or pointing it at the head of the neighbor's dog, I think my capguns would have 'magically' disappeared.

As I do with my kids with any of their "guns" which range from sticks off the ground to a Star Wars noisy thing. As a parent, I resisted getting any kind of gun for as long as I could because of my beliefs but also because it does look so wrong to see a child shooting and killing things and people. I have seen not only my son and his friends, as well as the kinder kids get too rough with this role play, and it is completely banned in kinder because of the behaviour it produces. What does that say about toy guns and children?

That they're kids and arent confusing fantasy with reality. I think we struggle like hell to find out what the hell makes these assholes that hurt people but sometimes its as simple as bad wiring bad chemistry. I and most of my generation played hours upon hours of violent kill people vidro games snd we arent all killers.

You don't think playing first person shooter video games growing up has impacted your views about guns???
I believe you said you owned TWO glocks for personal security.

I said no such thing I just dont see a problem with it.
I was exactly like you five years ago. I saw no point in guns I thought gun owners were crazy people looking to join the separatist militia or gang bangers. That was until some dude had beef with me over a chick. Motherfucka tried coming to my house and to make a long story short it all worked out but it made me aware of how defensleless was if someone meant me harm. So from then on I chose to defend my home

LOL. like i stated....a hand gun with no more than a clip of 5 rounds or 10 would have mofos rethink their actions......you dont need a 100 rnd clip semi-automatic assualt rifle.

you can go to a gun store and see mofos buy sniper rifles 50cal.....no person need a sniper rifle...unless he is one of those crazy militia people who believe the govt is gonna take their rights away ...screaming "rush is right"
