You are correct. Book worm made a some good points and I think she is sincere in her response, but in a real boy meets girl situation, you could have been to jail for an illegal business. As long as you are legit now and making your money legally. It won't matter to 99% of the women you meet. Even if you were 100% gangster in the past life you led. Word! If you have a record i would look at you sideways if you are going out with my sister, neice or daughter. It is up to you to prove to me that you have changed. Fact of the matter is most adult males who have been in jail more than once do end up repeating offences than those who wont.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Anyone can get fat at any time in their lives for many different reasons: a disability keeps them from exercising, depression causes them to overeat, medication causes them to gain a lot of weight, their metabolism goes away and they give up on taking care of themselves, etc.

On the contrary, someone who does something illegal that lands them in jail made a conscious decision to do that knowing the potential consequences of their actions - thus to me it says "character flaw".

At some point in most peoples' lives, they're faced with a decision to do something they know is wrong and can land them in jail, etc for their actions and most people will not do it because they know it's wrong.

It's about the character of a person for me.

 

How about perusing just about every thread in this forum - a woman's stock drops if she's:

over 25 years old

has a kid or kids

been divorced

over 25 years old

fat

over 25 years old

You get the idea. It's all over this forum. And yes, I'm generalizing, but you get the point.

your point is still flawed since no one is perfect and everyone has been faced with a decision to do something they know is wrong and could land them in jail... sure most people dont get caught and have deep dark secrets they dont want to let out. are you telling me no one has lied on their taxes or driven a car after one glass of wine/beer? are you trying to say you never have done either one of the two?

i can agree with you it being about a persons character... it is about character however everyone has character flaws and if just because someone went to prison they are flawed in that beautiful head of yours then so be it. i just cant agree with that.

in this day in age all people are flawed and have done something illegal whether they got caught or not, we only hear about the ones that get caught point blank.

i truly wish you the best of luck trying to find someone who loves you for you that has no character flaws.

Thats horseshit we have never dedicated threads where we point shit out like we are doing here. You may FEEL like that but no one (in my recent mmory) has made this a universal deal breaker. Also consider the men who dont like women above 25 theyre either much closer to that age than the women who are either closer to 40 or beyond it and also might want to start a family. But no said above 25 year old women were duds just not for them. I personally dont like women over 25 because their expectations of me and my time are generally much different. They generally dont feel like they have time to "play around" dating becomes serious business.
As far as being divorced I really doubt most men care. Its akin to having break ups and no one really cares how many break ups youve had. Being a single mom isnt a big deal to men who already have kids which shouldnt be tough to find at your ages. Guys your age looking for something serious wont care. As far as the weight thing as we have discussed in the past its a much bigger deal to other women than men. There are plenty of dudes who not only dont mind but prefer bigger women. Discussing weight in an overall way doesnt equal disgust of women who carry extra wright. Do more in shape women get more attention? Of course but so do in shape men, the only difference is women arent normally seeking out big guys, theyll stick it out with a dude they already love if he got bigbut I dont see the femal equivilant of BlackBulls threads around here. So I have yet to see any of those things as deal breakers.

 

You know all the character flaws for going to jail can be applied to gaining weight or other bad life decisions. Not all overweight people have bad character flaws but most do. Incredibly bad impulse control which is what causes most to do dumb shit tgat lands them in jail.

Not bitter. I was just compiling all of the crap that's been said on this forum about women over the years to illustrate a point. I know that when I decide to try dating again, that I'll have no problems finding men to date.

I know for a fact that if there was a stock dropping thread here was about women and some people here said a woman stock drops if she got fat we will see the usual suspects come in here and take it to a whole new level and restrictions galore. Now we have cowards and spineless people who cant say fat in fear of being attacked and try to use politically correct words.
