LOL, LT was a definite beast, running over offensive linemen to get to the QB, interception return for TD's, dragging down grown ass 200+ pound men with one hand, offensive players never wanted to come face to face with LT on the field, its like a Great White Shark coming after you, you know you're fucked when the jaws clamp down. :)

Dude was so good he got named NFL MVP in 86', hard as fuck for a defensive player to win the MVP. He was that good. Watching his highlights you can see why, he could literally change a game on defense. They don't make em like LT and Ray Lewis, players like that are a grain of sand on a beach to discover.

Yep, he even cancelled his interview with Arizona.

So many jobs are open that it will be like revolving coaches who got fired from one job going to another job, unless the guy really sucked as a coach and won't get hired. Guys like Andy Reid and Lovie Smith will land on their feet in no time.

I ended up with the Vikings and Ravens in my work's playoff pool, so I can't root against the Vikings. I have money riding on that. LOL.

Do I think they'll go all the way? Nope.

It would be nice to see them knock the Packers out though.

funny thing about this commercial is this that as bad as Cam's been playin' this year, I wouldn't be even the least bit surprised if this kid grew up & actually ended up takin' his spot years down the road from now....lol.

    LOL! Yeah, thanks.

Max tried to be nice and let me out of the bet since Christian Ponder wasn't playing, but I said I made the bet and I'm paying up.

Shanahan, should have taken RG3 out way earlier. That kid has his whole future to consider. And shame on Redskins ownership for having a nationally televised playoff game on that cheap ass field turf, Ive seen better looking sandlots.

Exactly. That final turf hit almost had me in tears. He's too good a man, let alone a player...to have all his blessings, his exceptional skills and potential NFL career destroyed by an 'abuser' coach. It was Shanahan's moral and professional duty to sit his QB down. A QB of RG3's character will never do it on his own, he will want to keep playing until his knee snaps.

    1st year at that

really sucks and wasn't worth it to him IMO..dude's just getting started in the NFL and shit

but you know football....a sport where 'heart and soul' is highly respected and players WILL play injured or hurt because you get hit for a living day in and day out.

I hear, but that's where the coach needs to do a reality check.

I know Shanahan is hungry for a title anything right now after a dismal McNabb and crappy record as HC, but he forgets they wouldn't even be in the playoffs if it wasn't for #10, so to risk all that for a one game glory knowing his QB's knee wasn't healed from the damage a few weeks ago...it's just a tad dirty to me.

sucks for a 1st year guy mos def

many players have played with all kinds of shit wrong with them..some of them to the point where they were addicted to pain killers said how easy it was to score them from coaching staff

like u said, the coach is definitely to blame because he didnt do enough to assure the rookie that he did fine for his 1st year. taking your team to the wildcard/playoffs...in the NFL..as a rookie..says A LOT. RGIII has a future..the HC..i guess he was on the ropes and that wasnt good enough

SMH, when you even have a team doc scared? ^

True @ players playing tough through the grind, remember when McNabb hobbled around on a broken foot and threw 4 TD's? But that's an exception to the rule. Potentially elite QB's like RG3 don't just come by every day.

I recall a former Eagle guest host on WIP say that if you're hurt, the countdown begins to replace you, eff job security, and that if you aren't high-profile, the NFL churns you and spits you out, you're pretty much a slot-filler from start to finish.

    BTW....*back down memory lane*
