Can someone please tell me why when flying Hawaiian Air you only pay baggage fees if you fly inter-island or mainland?

If I was flying to Tahiti or Brisbane my first two carry ons would be no charge.

Is it because we are the only nation not to say enough is enough?
Like anyone is going to fly anywhere without some type of effin' luggage.

Might be that. The last time I flew Hawaiian and needed to pay baggage fees was almost 4 years ago. But I only had to pay fee on the second bag because the first one was free cargo.

dWeb: I don't mind paying if it was straight across the board. But they only charge for inter-island and US mainland. It's a racket.
