Would you ever work abroad?

I came to a discussion with a friend who said everyone should try it once.
His sister did it in china. (worst advice that he probably gave her. She worked in china teaching English and it was probably horrible.)

I'm just thinking about it in the future in my 30's probably.

It's something that I've always wanted to do. If I ever got the chance to do it and it was somewhere that I've always wanted to go I would jump at it, no questions asked. Plus, who knows what you might learn or experience?

I worked and lived in England in my late 20's to my early 30's. best experience EVER and I would highly recommend that everyone at some point in their life gets out of their bubble and do the same

a Muslim coworker of mine seriously considered going over there to continue working in healthcare. that's why i promote traveling and just observing how other people live. i think many people would be surprised to find out that there are enough similarities wherever you go, to warrant extended stays.

I DO work and study abroad... if you'd consider a Canadian going to school/working in the US as 'abroad' *laughs*

I'd love to drop everything sometime though, go to some completely new place and see what happens :)

I would work abroad in a heartbeat.

Husband #1 worked in Switzerland for 4 months and I got to visit him several times. We were able to take weekend trips to Paris and Bavaria. It was an amazing experience and I'd totally do that myself.

I've been trying to work overseas for as long as I remember.

I'd go in a heartbeat if someone offered me a job. After I finish my PhD, it will be much easier. :)
