as parents we shouldn't have to worry about if we will see our kids again after dropping them off at school...

Sad but true with wild random crime these days. (why kids tho...they are so defenseless) Like the man who went to the PA Amish school and shot 10 school-girls, killing 5. And than man in Finland(??) who shot all those teens on a school politcal camp. You are right though, it won't stop.

    Omygoodness. Horrendous. :(

Cant stop crying over this shit. All the surrounding towns up here are completely shut down. Those of you who are religious please light a candle and say a prayer. Not only for those victims but for all of us. What kind of world are we living in?

The 2nd worst massacre in American school history. This shit is becoming a pattern , every other week some kook walks to crowded area and opens fire and kill innocent ppl. Now children getting murdered cold blooded. I wish these troubled psychos just kill themselves and be done with it than taking other lives, shit.

Let God bless these children souls.

    Rip
Another sad day in crazy American

So your answer to stop shootings is for parents to carry guns to protect their children? There is a need for less guns, not more, yet you'll still find people saying they have a right to carry one.

SMH when will be learn that violence doesn't end violence

How would you limit guns in the US? Never gonna happen boo but there should be yearly pysch evals

The shooters name was wrongly reported by the media. His name is Adam, not Ryan Lanza.

I have no words for this. I don't get it.

i don't know, we were able to do it, but i guess its just too deeply ingrained over there.

this is from a friend's fb statement, she's an american, living in australia:

"So,,,, I'm not allowed to buy more than 2 boxes of antihistamine in the US and yet it is easy for someone to get their hands on so many weapons and ammunition!! Please explain??"

    sums it up really

You've summed it correctly. Any disagreements in that department are just those who are flat out in denial.

So Tragic. Those poor kids. :(

These massacres are becoming way too common. I don't understand why these people don't just kill themselves, why do they have to take innocent people with them?

    RIP Little angles.

I appreciate our American rights but this is, again, why guns should go. Doesn't ONE child's life outweigh that right? Wouldn't you give it up to bring them back? Let love rule. Lenny

Makes my stomach sick at hearing of this tragedy.

Something is off about our society when 1 person can do such a dastardly deed to innocent kids and adults.

What makes these twisted fucks think because their life is in the pisser that they have to take innocent individuals with them, including little kids that have their whole life ahead of them.

All I can say is R.I.P. to all the innocent individuals.

    Words don't do justice.

Sadly, there will be no gun control folks, we live in a society that is obsessed with firearms. We live in a trigger happy society that sees guns as part of their greater rights and freedoms enshrined in the constitution.

The guns were bought legally and registered to the perpetrator's mother.

One of the greatest lobbies in the halls of Congress and American society at large is the National Rifle Association.

Sadly many Americans feel like Charlton Heston, you will take my firearms from my cold, dead, hands. So only lip service will be lent to tragedies like this and then life goes on with the same ole, same ole.

This has nothing to do with gun control its mental illness. Millions of legal gun owners and the overwhelming majority of gun deaths are caused by illegal gun owners. Crazy can use any weapin to inflect tragedy. A woman in China stabbed 20 people today. No gun just crazy

This is so fucking senseless, sickening, & heartbreaking.

My heart & prayers go out to the families who've lost their loved ones, especially those who lost their babies.

    RIP.
