great thread, just the advice i needed.

last night i was thinking exactly about this particular subject. I told myself that i need to approach women more in the public and exercise this skill more. When i think about it, you really have nothing to lose.

 

talk slow and clear. if you talk fast it will seem you have fear and lack confidence. its ok to be nervous....a decent woman would think its ok and cute because they know you are sincere but for the most part just talk with confidence ..even if your nervousness shows it will be ok as long as you look at them in the eyes.

 

I find it very hard and nerve wracking to approach a woman, especually a beautiful white woman. I am just so afriad of being shot down.

 

So true. I found this to be terrifying before I started to date outside of the race. I was scared of white females at one time in my life. They were so intimidating. When I finally got the courage to ask for a date I was so awkward. I still remember that first experience. She overlooked my awkwardness. She gave me a chance. It was the greatest experience of my life. She treated me like a real human being. She would tell me "I admire your courage".
