I took both, because my preferred school took the SAT but the state school accepted the ACT. I'm real old, and when I was in high school (ancient history), it was the reverse, the SAT was considered the hard one. Then like a moron, I took the GRE and then the LSAT. I must be a glutton for punishment.

Granted, I do not think it was a carefully thought-out move for Iggy to reference Alinoa's kid in their dispute..... even though he did later issued an apology.
.....I have not spent enough time combing over the threads to study how Iggy developed his universally negative reputation..........But can someone tell me the sobering truth............Is this man facing this severe punished primarily because he high-lights the ignorance, laziness, violence and hypocrisy of many black people ??....Are all of his claims unfounded and unsubstantiated......... or is it a case that his truth has such an embarrassing bite that he needed to be silenced.....

No one thinks that there is not some truth or should be spoken about. However why put so much focus on only black people when ALL people can be viewed in that manner. Are you as a black man actually sold on all the negative things about black people? And do you actually think everyone else on this site is that simple minded & sheltered in their views? Seriously??

Yeah, my school was only willing to accept the ACT for international students, and had a preference for Americans to also take the ACT... they'd accept SAT from Americans, but I think it changed now, to only accept ACT.

These characteristics are evenly distributed throughout human society, regardless of race. Social factors, not genetics or race, determine them. Constantly highlighting moral failings of people is more indicative of schadenfreude than it is a case of shedding light on the topic.

Dude really? The word tact is in the english language for a reason. Where do you find this behavior of his to be socially acceptable? I hope you are a lawyer because you exhibit a willingness to defend some of the most absurd shit. You may as well get paid for it.

    Orejon,
You are a perceptive wise man with a sense of self-honesty...The whole thrust of his argument were that these ills were in-fact troubling disproportionate in OUR race...

Well the man professes to be a staunch republican conservative.....though his delivery can use some diplomatic smoothening.....he is attempting to trumpet the tenants of his party.....He is committed to his cause....

And every single group on the planet that is disproportionately ground down exhibits social dysfunction disproportionate to their numbers. Ever check out the educational, health and social indicators of Native Americans? Inuit? The Irish in England and here when they first came over? Asian ethnic minorities in the countries where they are not indigenous? Roma (Gypsies)? The list goes on and on. We are no different. It's not an excuse, it's an explanation.

The politics need to go. Period. No one wants to be beaten over the head with other people's causes & beliefs on an ongoing basis. Keep it in the Politics section if you're that diehard about all things politics. It doesn't need to be all over the forum.
