I found out my psycho sister-in-law hit my brother in the back of the head with a friggin' hammer while he was sitting at his desk in front of the computer on thanksgiving day!!!

She was mad at him over his visit with his children (his ex-wife has primary custody) for the the holiday. She's extremely jealous of his kids, especially the oldest one who looks like her mother, and she goes out of her way to interfere with the time he's scheduled to spend with them. This visit was no exception. Since she has a fit if they come to their home, he opted to spend time with them at a friend's home. She decided to pick a fight with the ex-wife via calls & texts, so the ex got mad and picked the girls up early.

My brother never stands up to her or even tries to put a stop to her bullshit, and her behavior is getting worse all the time. It's my understanding that he was talking to my niece on the computer, which is why his bitch wife decided to hit him with the hammer. I was also told his daughter was so upset about what happened to her dad, her mom caught her cutting her wrist!!!

His ex tried to call to see if he was okay since my niece was so upset but got no answer, so she contacted his mother-in-law to see if she could find out. The MIL went over there, but my brother refused to go to the hospital or to call the police, so his wife's mother called the police herself. His wife went to jail, but he ended up getting her out the next day.

Of course the whole family is upset about everything, yet my brother is pissed at everyone who is mad at his wife for what she did. It makes no damn sense.

At this point though, all I know to do is pray for them all.

 

I'd be afraid if I was him, too. I'm scared she will kill him next time she does something crazy.

No relationship is worth that craziness.

We're all trying to be there for him, but at the moment he's not too accepting of that support. I hate what the situation is doing to him and to his relationship with his kids. Seeing them all suffering makes my heart ache.

 

Thanks for the prayers, Bliss. I hope he comes to his senses before it gets to that point. She refuses to be around his kids, so that is one less worry.

 

Thanks, Curley, I appreciate it. It's so hard to understand why someone stays in an abusive situation, and I hope whatever unhealthy mindset is keeping him there changes before it's too late.

If a hammer to the head wasn't reality enough for him, I don't know what will be. He does nothing but make excuses for her.

 

Jealousy is pure poison and doesn't have shit to do with love. A jealous person is an unhealthy person IMO.
