What is it with men and the phone? I had 2 people call me over the holidays too I haven't heard from in a while. and they're like I miss you. translation I want booty call. do men honestly think were that dumb?

Too funny. Guys seem to think we are waiting around for them to call. Like as soon as they pay us attention again, we will jump. Don't they realize that they come a dime a dozen? I'd say the same applies to women (dime a dozen). When you know better, you do better.

If I get an out-of-the-blue call or text I respond 2 ways:

If I'm taken will tell them asap, "I'm great, happily involved...and you?" They usually stop calling after this one.

Or, "sooo, when did you and your girl break-up"?
Cause I know that's why I stopped hearing from them (#they found a g/f) and am now hearing from them again. I always get a denial, but I'm no in-between chick. I know what's up, lol.

Since I've accidentally wiped out all the numbers from my old phone... and then had it stolen.... and switched to another phone, I'd answer an out of the blue text with a "who's this?" lol.

For me, I also find that hearing guys in the neighborhood would realize I'm deaf, and ask for my text number... possibly because they realize it's the only way they'd really have a conversation with me :smt102.

A certain somebody *crosses arms* nearly got me in "trouble" the other day for lying too... when a guy asked for my number, and I said I didn't text, just to have my phone vibrate a few seconds later.

 

I'm kind of like, if I have to ask who it is then you know you mean nothing to me and I deleted your ass.

 

Maybe it was your phone's alarm letting you know that you have to be somewhere in a few minutes...then you also have an excuse for leaving!

What kind of deaf person would have a phone that isn't textable? I said I didn't have a phone, then it vibrated walked with him a little bit more, then gestured to my arm saying "time", and then gestured 'run', because I was really out for a walk/run. That gave me an excuse to RUN away lol

 

You know what i absolutely hate? When someone calls or texts me WHO'S THIS!? I be like motherfucka you called me!
